This morning we all headed for MK since it had the EMH. We were able to do Space Mtn. twice, Buzz Lightyear, Mickey's Philharmagic, BTMRR, Jungle Cruise, Hall of Presidents and then took a nice break on the Transit Authority. We had ADR's had the Liberty Tree Tavern which we all enjoyed very much. Some of us had the clam chowder to start off with. The main entrees were the pot roast, Pilgrim's feast which was turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes, the William Penn pasta and my youngest had a burger. The dessert, Liberty shortcake, was delicious and my favorite dessert on the whole trip. We were able to use our DDE to save 20%-I love this card!!
When returning to the hotel, my husband surprised me with a Mickey Mouse watch. He wanted to show his appreciation for all my hard work in planning this trip. My youngest son also surprised me with an Eeyore mug. The watch came at a great time because I noticed it wasn't working earlier that day and the face was chipped.
I wanted to comment too for those of you who have children who like arcades. At both the AKL and BCR, my boys were able to purchase a card that you swipe to do the games. You initially buy it for $1, $5, $10 etc. and you get so many points on your card. It was great and the games really were not that expensive. Most of them were only 25 pts. to play. They spent a lot of time here in the afternoon and some evenings.
We went to Epcot later that day because we had ADR's at the Rose and Crown. We checked in to tell them we wanted to cancel. We were still full from our meal at Liberty Tree Tavern. So we later ate at the Season food court in the Land Pavilion. We also rode TT-2X because the first time they were having difficulty and we got stuck for about 15min. in the corrosion part-YUK! so they said we could stay on again if we wanted-Duh! I guess we'd turn down that offer. We also rode Soarin, which surprisingly my oldest really enjoyed. He's usually more for speed and thrill. Did Spaceship Earth and Journey Into Imagination.
Tomorrow we check into the BCR...
