Can't wait to be at Disney 12/11-12/15 - our first holiday experience - we're staying at great resorts (BWV and GF) and we have fantastic ADRs (including CP, Narcoose's and Cal. Grill) but we now have one small problem - My husband is a huge Phil. Eagles fan and I am a huge NY Giants fan and they are playing each other Sun. night 12/13. We really want to see the game (could go to ESPNclub) but we have dinner ressies at Cal. Grill at 8:55- perfect for the fireworks but not enough time to get back to ESPN and catch any of the game - my question is this - Does anyone know where we can catch the Sun. night football game after dinner - close to the Contemporary? Maybe a lounge? you'd have to be a true football fan to consider this even a small problem - thanks for any help

We're watching the Electrical Water Pageant that evening from Ft. Wilderness and hope to see part of the game at Crocketts.

Two years ago I watched part of a playoff game in the lounge on the Wave restaurant while waiting for our buzzer. It wasn't a huge tv or anything. I have also watched games at lounges at AKL, WL and YC.

Dh and I are huge college football fans. Its a Southern thing!

Anyway, we will either want to catch the BCS National Championship on January 7th or the Sugar Bowl on January 1st.

It all depends on who wins the SEC Championship this Saturday in Atlanta.

Dh and I hope to get in at the ESPN Club, but are glad to know that there will be other places to watch the big game.

I forgot to really check when I was in the Contemporary this past Oct, but I think they still have the Outer Rim bar/lounge area across from the Contempo Cafe and Chef Mickeys. The Sunday night game will be nationally televised, so they'll have it on one of the TVs in the lounge area or behind the bar. I've watched football games at the Outer Rim in the past.

As mentioned, the Wave will most likely have the game as well

i understand completely; have been hearing all week how we're going to miss not one but 2 games (didn't check the schedule to see the Thursday night game next week)...oh the shame.

problem w/watching game in lounge is hoping a) it's national coverage & b) it's the game the bartender wants to watch; tip well
