didnt need to wake up at 6:55 AM

I figured i needed to get up early and call for dining reservations starting May 27 as it was the beginning of free dining, memorial day weekend and maybe star wars weekend to make my dining reservations on my first day on sunday. so after driving 9 hours the day before from raleigh to cleveland i set my alarm, get up (it was hard) and get in my car to make reservations as the trip is a christmas surprise and i didn't want hubby to hear. i park in drug store and call at 7 on the dot; they tell me 1/2 hour wait. waited an hour got disconnected. call back tell me 1/2 hour wait. i wait 45 minutes and say im going back to bed. i drive home and i call at 10 they said it was an 8 minute wait and i call back at 11 and it was a 3 minute wait. i got every reservation i wanted including le cellier and chef mickeys at every time i wanted. i don't know if this always happens or if thanksgiving had something to do with it but if you want to sleep in, i recommend it.

You made me laugh.

I made ADRs starting the next day and I am usually the 7:00 AM person or earlier trying to get ADRs. But, because of life I didn't even start until almost 10:30 am. I also got everything I wanted at the exact time I asked for including Chef Mickey's, La Hacienda and the Fantasmic Dinner Package We are taking my 93 year-old MIL and figured this was the best way to get her to see Fantasmic.

I had an awful time at 7am on Sunday too for our 5/27 weekend stay. Got disconnected twice, went directly to the survey once, another 45 minute hold then lost the call, finally got everything I wanted around 9am, even LeCellier for 5/27 at 7pm (sorta shocked at that one, figure it's because it will be 2 TS credits).

Not on a DDP this time, so we are treating ourselves to Lunch With an Imagineer on Monday 5/30. We go to WDW often, and try to do at least one new thing each time. First time for this lunch for us, and DH is eager to try the new Star Tours.

I was told by a CM yesterday that there were major phone issues over the weekend, not just in dining.

I'm also surprising son and fiancee so made some reservations for them to go themselves online and once again got everything at exact time so if people are stressing about it...don't!!! I'm hoping maybe it won't be as crowded as I thought but I don't care if it is...I mean I will still be at disney after all!!!

I'm with you. I was sick and forgot all about it. I finally called at noon and got everything at the time I wanted including Fantasmic package at the time I wanted .
