My three friends and I ate at Captain Jacks on our last trip. It was the first time for all of us. I was dissapointed in the restaurant. They had a limited selection on the menu especially for their seafood selection. We ordered appetizers, entrees and drinks. The food was very bland. Even to clam chowder soup was nothing special. We all had different entrees and were starving when we arrived. For the most part we are all pretty easy to please-so I don't believe that we were being too critical.
The positives were that we had excellent drinks. I give Captain Jacks a B for their tasty specialty drinks. I had two thank you! :drinking1 We also sat at a great table with a view of the water. Although the irony was that Fulton's Crab house was right outside the window and I had to mutter to myself that we should of eaten there! pirate:

I give an A- to the fuzzy passion!!!! YUM!

Captain Jack's is easily the worse restaurant in WDW. The food is horrible. I think the only reason it is so popular is because it's cheap and you can get lobster on the DDP. They can have that dump.

We ate at Captain Jack's in 1999 and had a fab meal. We then ate there again in 2000 and the meal was not so great. We were starving the first time and have always wondered if that was the reason we enjoyed it so much.

We ate tehre in December, I didnt' think it was bad. By no means was it five star but it was not horrid. I believe we had 2 specialty drinks, DS and DH ordered the ribs, I had the seafood pasta and DD had the grilled chicken sandwich--no one complained!

We have to agree with you. It wasnt unedible, but the least appealing meal of our trip. There are so many other places to eat that we wont be back. It just wasnt very flavorful to us. We also had slow service when the place was virtually empty at 4:30.

We ate there in 2003 a vowed to NEVER go back.. It was very bland, portions small, and prices were expensive. We did the same thing when we walked out and noticed Fultons everyone in our party exclaimed "We should have eatten there!" lol

Except Fultons gets a regular beating here as well.
