didj discontinued?

Is the Leapfrog Didj being discontinued? I noticed that all the Didj games were clearanced out at our local Walmart store and the Didj gaming systems are long gone. I purchased a Didj for DD when they were clearanced to $29.97 and now I'm wondering about it. Should I go ahead and whip up a bunch of games or will they still be available later? Anybody heard anything?

I do know that they have a bunch of new games that are coming out this summer.

They also have a new charging base due out June 20th 2009. This is to replace one that they had to recall. It was originally due out earlier, but they keep moving the release date back.

I wish the games here were on clearance! I got my dd the didj on clearance with a coupon for 9.99 but the games are all still 29.99 each!!!

About 2 months ago Leapster.com had $20 off the purchase of any didj game system coupons that you could print directly from their website. WalMart had the system on clearance for $29.99 so the game console came out to only $9.99.

Our Kroger Market Place had a few didj games for $9.99, the Star Wars Clone Wars game and the nick toons game where you can be Danny Phantom, Sponge Bob & some others. Sorry I don't remember the names of the games. I already had the Clone Wars game, got it on ebay for around $7 shipped, but I picked up the Nick Toons game. I was luck enough to get the didj for $9.99 with the coupon from Walmart earlier this year and have it and the games put back for Christmas.

Stirring this thread up again....Zellers has the systems on for $19.99 and the games for $4.99. Sale started today.
