Did your premium date waitlist come through?

We have a friend going to Food and Wine the same time we are. He is waitlisted for a VWL studio, but has ressies at his home SSR. We booked this trip at our home base VWL for ourselves at 11 months, and hoping his waitlist comes through at VWL, as it would make things easier and more fun if he were at the same resort.
With the enforcement of transfer rules, DVC looking to detect a pattern of renting, and the lack of Ebay point rentals lately, I was wondering if more waitlists are coming through for premium dates.

I'm still waiting for 1 night for a 2BR at the VWL for the night of the 8th.. gonna be tough as I've been on the waitlist for months and are only like 2 weeks left. Ugh.. I'm still crossing my fingers that someone somewhere will cancel a 2BR, then that persons waitlist will transfer them, and then someone waitlisting for that room gets transferred, etc etc etc. I'm really hoping for a domino effect!

2 days ago I cleared the waitlist for a studio at BWV for Oct 21 & 22. The only bad part is one night is BW view and the other standard view so unless a BW view room comes through for the last night I will have to move. That is a Sunday night so I am not too hopeful, but you never know. I will call every day once I am within the 7 day mark. At least its at the same resort , so it shouldn't be too difficult to switch rooms.

We were waitlisted for both BCV and BWV. We have ressies at SSR. I'm assuming that because our trip is just 23 days away that we'll be staying at SSR.

I'm on a waitlist for one day in a 2 bedroom at VWL for President's Day. I know this is still a long way away but I got on the list at 9:00 at 7 months out. I thought some one would be swapping out within the week. I'm still hoping it will come through around 1 month out.

I just received notification that my waitlist came through or my last night 10/26 in a BWV studio. I had all my other nights except for the last night; I was going to have to move for the last night. Needless to say I am very happy that I don’t have to move.

This is my 2nd experience with the waitlist & both times I have been lucky & gotten what I needed/wanted.

I hope your waitlist comes through.

I had a WL for NYD at VWL come through about a week after all the ebay stuff starting hitting the fan.

I'm still waitlisted for a 1-BR at BWV for New Year's Eve, and have been on the waitlist since late April. I have a 1-BR booked at BCV, but would hate to move for the 1 night, so I'm hoping the waitlist will clear.

My sister's waitlist for her last night for a 2bdrm at BCV for the night of November 5th just came thru yesterday.

My waitlist for Thanksgiving at SSR came thru, except for Thanksgiving Day. I started with 1 night, and I got the whole week, and they came thru within the last two weeks. So now I just have to sleep in the lobby on Thanksgiving! I am still waiting for a 2 bedroom BW view, though, for two nights. at Christmas.

I called up yesterday to plan next years trip and they informed me that our waitlisted 1 bedroom at the Boardwalk came through for our October 29th arrival. I had actually given up... so when she told me we got it I was delighted and thanked the member service person so aggressively she must of thought I was a lunatic.

My kids are going to LOVE this vacation!

My waitlist for BCV studio came through last week for Oct 20th - 24th. I had BWV studio reserved and was not expecting my waitlist to come through during the food and wine festival, but am happy it did.

My waitlist for VWL did not come through for September. I also waitlisted for Boardwalk view at BWL, which did not come through either, but I did not expect it to. My last day in a preferred view did, so I am all set.

Waitlist for VWL did not come through for November either.

I just went to the DVC member site to check on our points and saw the our waitlist came through for Nov 26-28 and I was never even notified through email! We were boooed for SSR and waitlisted for BWV or BCV and we now have BWV! I am psyched.

I did request automatic confirmation, but shouldn't they have at least sent us an email letting us know? WOO HOO! This works out just fine & dandy since we are going for the CP and wanted to be at an Epcot resort!
