Did you/will you get a flu shot?

Yep, a few weeks ago. My program at school requires it and it's free at work so I have no reason not to.

i wont be getting it my job offers it but im young and healthy so
but my mom will be getting it she is a heart patient so

I'm getting one, but not until after Halloween (don't want to have a reaction & be too sick to decorate the yard & hand out candy!).

I had the swine flu for a couple of months, ended up in the hospital & almost died at the begining of this year...not something I'd want to go through again

The kids and I just got back from getting our flu shots a little while ago. DH got one at work a couple weeks ago and DS18 is getting or got one at school. Dh and I had the flu about 18 years ago and NEVER want that again. DS15 has always thrown a fit about getting a shot but after having H1N1 last year he was first in line to get his today. DD15 is the only one in the house that has never had the influenza but after seeing DS15 with it last year she doesn't ever want it either.

I got my flu shot a couple days ago (I get one every year). I've really been
amazed by the people who don't get one because they think they will get sick or they know someone who got sick.
One of my co-workers said she doesn't get one because her dad did, and ended up with pneumonia afterward. Another insists that she got one 4 years in a row, and ended up violently sick each time.

Do you get the flu shot? If not, why???

No I won't a flu shot because I don't want to get it.
