Did you walk or take the bus to school?

We lived 20+ miles from school. I rode the bus and hated EVERY minute of it. My senior year, I drove sometimes, or I'd ride the school bus to a friend of mine's house and ride to school with her (if I wasn't already at her house).

My parents drove me except in middle school, when I walked. I started driving myself as soon as I turned 16.

I walked through grade school. My town and a neighboring town shared a high school (still do) and I rode the bus and absolutely hated it.

Walked until 11th grade, then I had to ride the bus. That is one I my least favorite memories

Walk, ride bikes, or catch a ride... My younger two will never get the chance to ride the bus to school...sometimes they mention it like it is the end of the world that they will never get to experience this...LOL

I walked or rode my bike to school in elementary. Bus for jr. high.

Walked most of the time, but occasionally got a ride with my father or next door neighbor.

I went to a private school which was on the other side of town. We were on the bus for 2 hours each day ugh

We lived in a rural area so I always took the bus.

Through 2nd grade, we lived in NY city, so I walked. When we moved to NJ, the town only bused the kids who were way over on the other side of town, so I kept on walking.

My grammar school was a little over a mile away and my HS was 2 miles away.

Getting to them wasn't bad, but it really was uphill for a big part of the walk home.

Around here, they bus kids who literally live across the street from the school.
