Trying to have a 24 pack of bottled water shipped to my resort for our trip. It looks to me like Costco is $6.97 a case with included shipping and Staples is $7.29 with $9.95 additional shipping. Seems like a no brainer...right?! :confused3 Or am I missing something? I have heard people say they have used Staples and even recommended it...but doesnt that shipping fee seem a little high?!

We just returned from WDW and I had 2 cases of water shipped from Costco to the Pop and it was about $15. They charge you a 5% non member rate. The water was all i purchased so the fee wasn't much. The shipping was included in the price. It was the first time I ever ordered anything to be shipped and it was very easy. They had it at the front desk when we arrived. I ordered it on Sat. it arrived on Wed. we arrived that saturday.

Good luck

I ordered form Staples b/c I am a teacher with a rewards card that comes with free shipping. If you think you have any other food/beverage needs, consider gardengrocer.com to order water and more. We ordered milk, breakfast foods, snacks, as well as water for this trip.

Ok so tell me how this works. YOu can ship food from costco ( I am a member) to the resort you are staying at. I am going to univeral in a few weeks.'

How do I do it? HOw far ahead should I ship if so it arrives when we do?

Wow cool idea.

You order it about 4 days before you scheduled to arrive. Order online and put in your name c/o the hotel's address. They will hold it for you if it arrives early. Mine was waiting when I arrived. When you go to the Costco website seach "bottled water" and the cases of water will pop up.

Definately doing this again this year. The case SHIPPED costs the same as two bottles of water in the park!!!

I have decided that if I JUST do water...COSTCO is the way to go. If I do snacks too....I love the gardengrocer idea!!! Thanx!!!

Thanks Tnkrbelle565. I was just talking to my DH tonight about when to order the water. I have added it to my checklist to do 4 days out. This board is invaluable!

Just confirming.... buying water b/c the water at WDW tastes disgusting -- or?

It's been 10 years since our last trip there and neither of us remember the water being so bad or maybe it was just we were 10 years younger and didn't care :rotfl:

yes, we buy water because the FREE water in the parks tastes disgusting to me. The bottled water in the parks costs $3. So I have a case shipped. Much cheaper. Depending on where you live in the country, you may not be bothered by the Disney tap water but we think it tastes terrible. If we do drink park water, we flavor it with Crystal Light packets.

I noticed that the type of water shipped to Florida is Zephyrhills. How does that taste? I hate the Nestle water I've tasted. I prefer Dasani, but Poland Spring and Deer Park are ok - does Zephyrhills taste like them?

Zephyrhills is the same bottles at Poland Spring so it will taste like them. We found it to be good.

Has anyone shipped water from other sites? I am really hooked on Smart Water and Fiji Water. I find those two brands rehydrate better. Unfortunately Costco doesn't carry those two brands. Any help from your collected experience is much appreciated. Thanks.

Used STAPLES and the ship was FREE because I added in my INK for my printer, a no brainer for us! ( I shipped 3 cases, one tin of cookies and the ink) They are reliable and will input EXACT date of arrival for you if you call right after ordering.
