Did you introduce your wedding party?

I am having a custom wedding with approx 43 guests. My wedding party consists of 18 (including parents, 2 flower girls and 2 ring barers). My mother thinks the entire wedding party should be introduced at the reception. I do not agree because only 25 people are not in the wedding party. It seems kind of silly to introduce half the guest list while the other half watches, almost like a show. I just wanted to have us introduced and have the wedding party names in the program. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

We had 35 guests, we were introduced & then the dj named the wedding party and they stood up from their seats. I couldn't see lining up our wedding party and doing introductions etc.

We had 74 people (including a dozen kids or so) at our wedding and a bridal party of 13 including us. We did introductions, but didn't introduce our parents, at my mother's request. I think either way you want to do it is fine.

We did parents, but not the children. This was also a much larger, at-home wedding (I think we had about 380 or so attend). I haven't seen children announced at any wedding though. I have seen just the bride and groom announced and I think that is totally fine, especially if it would make you uncomfortable. Do it your way!!

I agree with you, I think it would be kind of "silly" to introduce the wedding party. I am having between 60-70 guests, with 14 of us in the wedding party, plus 4 parents and 5 grandparents as special guests of honor. DF and I will be introduced, and everyone else's name will be in the program. I think that is a fine way of doing it :)

Actually we thought about not doing it (size reasons also)...but then decided to introduce the wedding party for the video....it was nice that everyone’s name and a clear shot of them was included....so even if it seems odd...it looks good in the video/pictures

we had introductions for my moh, his bm, our parents & us at the reception.

We had about 70 people. I HATE the wedding introductions. I am used to big fat tacky Italian New York weddings, and that has made me dispise introductions of the wedding party. I didn't even want us to be introduced...like everyone didn't know who we were. I was kind of mad when the DJ introduced us. He really didn't follow what I said about it. So, long story short, if you have 40 people, everyone knows everyone else, you don't need to do intros.
