Here is the information on the car and plate number Driving a 2003 white, four-door Mazda 3 bearing the South Carolina license plate 732RZZ . Everyone on the east coast keep on an eye out. They could have taken back roads and possibly got stuck like the family in Oregon as well. Who knows. Hopefully they will be found safe.

The daughter of the couple lives about 10 minutes from us. There was a press conference here about an hour ago. I feel so sorry for them. The Horry County Police (police here in Myrlte Beach area) were not very helpful - just today (5 days later) sending a detective out to get information on the couples bank records etc. Things that should have been done days ago and that the family did on their own.

The couple were found by their uncle and another family member who had used their own money to fund a helicopter search after not getting sufficient assistance from the authorities.

It's so sad....I can't imagine loosing both my parents in such a way.

When I first heard they were missing yesterday, I kind of chuckled and thought "They must have stopped off in Atlantic City. Their kids are gonna be furious when they call tonight!"

This afternoon I started to think differently. The story had been all over the news and they still hadn't called.

I am very sad to hear they found their bodies. I was really hoping it was a case of the parents just being a little naughty. I'm sorry I was wrong.

On Thursday, December 7th, at 7:29 a.m. Nash County 911 Communications notified the Highway Patrol of a traffic collision at the same location. Nash County EMS and Fire were unable to locate a vehicle collision at the reported location.

Ugg makes you wonder if another car hit them and than they went into the swamp.
