WoW I was really Lucky this year!! So,LOL,at Kmart or Walmart, if you saw a old, gray haired, fat Lady, in track shoes speed by,and beat you to the Door Busters,That was ME!!LOL!LOL!! Better start your training and planning NOW for next year!LOL!LOL!

My Real wish is that you ALL got what it was you were looking for!!!!!!!! And if you missed here is a Ton of Bargain Pixie DustFor you,so you get a much better deal!!~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~

Should we list what we Found??

I got everything price matched at Kmart.. walked in there, one of FOUR, yes FOUR people.. and got all my items matched from KB Toys, Toys R Us, and Target ads (no Walmarts near here!)

Did shopping on Best Buy online with FREE shipping, so that eliminated the line at Best Buy opening.

Did Kmart, Best Buy (went in there for a few items, had about an hour to kill until Target opened), Target (found some jeans for my DD), JC Penney (strolled in for the snowglobe), Bath and Body Works (using some free product coupons) out by 4:50, and home by 8:30

Spent less than $150, but with sales it was almost $300 of product (I never pay full price)

If you saw someone with all different store flyers, spreadsheet, list, and her checkbook (didn't want to give the credit card a workout!)

Some sales werent' as good as previous years (Target for example). Kmarts were good this year, for some things. Best Buy actually had Xbox games fror $15.99, much cheaper than $39 regular price.

That was me.

I was able to get:

Kmart-Turkey Day
2-$9.00 GB Advanced games
BOGO games-Agraveation and Monopoly
1-$9.00 dvd Spirit of Cim. w/snow globe
1-$8.00 CD Averal ? w/ Skater Boy on it
1-$59. I-Quest player[2 week pior no one knew what I was talking about. Got the software P-SAT/AST the night before at Walmart also by chance!]

Walmart- Black Friday
1-$49.00 Gameboy Advanced
1-$154.00 3.2 Digital Kodak Camera
1-$99.00 Dvd/VHS combo player

Target[newest location strolled in at 7:00am]
1-$49.00 1000 watt Microwave

Bi-Mart[arrived 7:20am]
Missed the Apex $99.00 TV but scored
1- $149.00 19" Magnavox TV [I liked that it was a Name Brand!]

We are blessed this year!

Nope, had a gallbladder attack and ended up in the ER from 2am till 9am. Funny, I had 5 tests saw 3 Drs. and 7 hours later they sent me home telling me what I told the triage nurse when I got there. Oh, they did add, go see a surgeon.
Sounds like you fared better then I....congrats........spruce

NOPE! I didn't get the one thing I wanted from the sales. I wanted to get the GBA from Walmart but got there late (thought it opened @7 not 6) and they were long gone by the time I tried.

I did get the JcP Mickey Snow Globe though.

Next year I read the ads better :)

Spruce- So,sorry about your gall badder attack. Here is some Good Health Pixie Dust for you! ~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~

WDW2002- Amazon has GBA for $69. ands you will get the color you Want!!

Thanks for asking. I was thrilled to get the 2 Disney games I was looking for at K-mart, Uno for $6.99 (around $17 normally) and Music for $19.99 (runs about $30). Didn't get there until 8:30 on Fri. so wasn't too hopeful they'd still have them. Pixie dust I guess!

Got to Walmart at 5:15 am and there was a long line. I got everything I wanted and more. I did have one complaint thought Walmart put their doorbusters as you walk in and it caused the biggest traffic jam I had ever seen. I was able to get out of there by 8:30 am. I was able to price match the sound and lights sit and spin at Wallmart (Target had it for $9.99) which was good because by the time we went to Target there was none.

I too got everything I went for so "pixie dust" must have been plentiful this holiday season!!!

I stayed home because I was able to get my Little Tykes workshop for $29. on wednesday at Walmart. It must have been on clearance already, although their website had it for $48. I didn't know, didn't care! Now my son can build a house :)

I also did some online shopping at Staples & the items will be delivered Monday. Staples has the best coupons!

We also had to buy a new washer & dryer & got 10% off Saturday at Sears. Our 17 year old washer decided to break on Wednesday. kind of threw off our Christmas budget!

Spruce -- I hope you're feeling better! Isn't it funny how we know ourselves better than the docs sometimes? I had a mystery illness once and I got so tired of telling them (as they prodded my right side) - it's not my appendix!! :)

Seems like our plan of attack worked this year. :D DH went to Best Buy and DD, SIL and I went to JCPennys. DH got to Best Buy about 5:30. There was a line of about 30 people. By the time he got in the door a little after 6, he said the line was all the way around the building and back to the car installation garage!!! He went in there for a DVD player and got it as well as a hard drive/memory combo. He almost didn't get it. As the salesman was handing him the hard drive, a woman behind him tried to take it out of his hands!! He got upset and said "I don't think so. I was here first!!" :D Took him about 45 minutes to check out. When we got home and opened the hard drive there was a manufactuer note in there. "Congrats, your purchase has been upgraded for free!!!" It was an 80 gig harddrive instead of a 75 gig. He was doin the happy dance!!!

While DH was at Best Buy DD, SIL and myself went to JCP to get the snowglobe at 6 am. The only places open at that time were KBToys (crazy line!!!) and Sears. Didn't find anything we needed at Sears so we left the mall and went to Michaels and got a few things. Then it was time to meet DH at Target. We got there and there were about 150 in line already. We got in the doors a little after 7am and made a beeline to the toy section. We went looking for barbie stuff. They had a 2 pack of clothes for $8.88 as well as a 2 pack of doll accessories. They had them on an endcap. I grabbed 2 sets, turned around and asked SIL if she wanted any and turned around again and they were gone! We found some more of the 2 packs of doll accessories on the top shelf but couldn't reach them. So DH and I made a human ladder and grabbed a bunch of them. People were grabbing them out of my hand as quickly as I was pulling them off the shelf. It was a madhouse. :D But we had fun!!! Can't wait till next year!!!!

I want to thank everyone for posting the Black Friday sale lists. I was able to look through them and see if what DD wnated was on there. She wanted to Bratz Salon and Spa. It wasn't on the list so I went ahead and purchased it early. KMart had them in their sale paper Sunday for $15 less. I went back to the KMart I originally bought it and asked for a price adjustment. The sales clerk told me I was lucky to have bought it early because they were already sold out! This was the only thing DD had asked Santa for!

If I had not seen these lists beforehand I probably would have waited. THANK YOU!

I did make it to Toys R Us Fri AM and the CD games $9.99. Picked up 2 but will probably put one away for DD birthday. DH and I both got the snowglobe at JCP. Bought a set of wine glasses at JCP for $9- originally $25. Then went back and got another set:p .

DH wanted to redo one of our bathrooms in the 'Mountain Lodge' pattern from Kohl's (our DVC home is VWL :) ). Got all the 'stuff' for 50% off!

Thanks to the Black Friday lists I was able to choose which toy store to hit for the best sale items for my DS's. I went to KB Toy Works and bought a Leap Pad and some Leap Pad books for one son, as well as walkie talkies and a few Rescue Heroes and a few other toys on sale. I also picked up several Rescue Heroes to donate to the Toys for Tots collection at our local fire station.

I didn't spend TOO much -- we leave for Disney in ten days and plan to do MOST of our shopping at The World. ;)

SPRUCE!!! So sorry to hear about your trip to the ER!! I hope you're doing 100% better today. Take care of yourself!!!!!!!

My wife, son and myself went to visit her sister & family this year for thanksgiving. Northwest makes is prohibitively expensive to fly, so we opted to drive 10+ hours from TX. On friday am, I got elected to drive the sisters in the mommy mobile to: Target, Value city, K-mart & Toys R Us. Target was great, no problems with checking out.
However, it was about 9am, and they were out of the game boy advance games I wanted to get for my son. I did snag the ice age dvd and the simsons clue game.
We stopped at several stores to look for a light bulb for my 3yo niece's light. Never found it. We even went to radio shack.
So we went to Value city to look for some comforter sets.
I parked and went in with the sisters. They had to veer off for a potty break, so I went in to the pit. I walked right into a sales pitch guy for some photography thing two weeks later. Before I could reply I was out of town, some woman had pulled out a popcorn tin on the bottom of three layers high, and about 20 or so went everywhere. I stepped back and took it all in. Some blond bimbo was on the cell phone every ten seconds, then would pass out to whomever the photo sales flyer. Seems like she was dressed to kill for the holiday frenzy. I guess she was in charge of the whole thing, being on the phone every ten seconds.
I observed the lines. 20 deep, at about a dozen registers. Some lady who worked there got bumped accidentally by a customer, then she went on a tear to her co-worker. In the few minutes while I waited no lines moved. The sisters came out and I told them it wasn't going to happen, I'd rather pay the extra ten bucks at k-mart. So we went over there-and hit the pile up of pile-ups. I foresaw it and drove through a couple of parking lots to k-mart. We went in-and by 1030am there was stuff everywhere. I saw the layaway line-my gosh-40 people in line!
The toy section looked like they released a bunch of 5 year olds, and let them pull everything down on the floor.
We tried to get the spiderman sheet set-no where to be seen-but did get two nice comforter & sheet sets for the nieces.
The last pass was to toys r us for the leap pad buy 2 get 1 free.
My sister noted that it was located at "murder mall". Seems like people have been shot several times in the parking lot. Lovely.
I scouted it out and went in. Same thing-toys everywhere-on the floor. One leap pad section was completely cleaned out, but we did find what my son had asked for. Even sister went for the deal. While standing in the 12 deep line at the register, I had my wife look for yoda-man. She found him-but I don't know if he works. We finally made it out and got out of "murder mall". My brother-in-law was waiting to go hunting, we were 45 minutes past due out shopping time.
I know now why I had such a good experience last year-I only went to target.
The story is true, sorry about the blond remark, but if you had saw the lady, you'd have said something too!
Had anyone made a documentary on the black friday thing? I think somehow I would get mugged during the filming.

Our nightmare location was the local Shopko that was giving away free Teddy Bears to the first 1000 "adults" through the door
starting at 6 am. The line was out through 3/4 of the parking lot when we got there, but we all did end up getting a bear. THEN the real fun began. Each register was at least 40 people deep. We stood in line not going anywhere for at least 30 minutes, and decided nothing we were buying was worth waiting any longer. The store was so packed, you could barely breathe. So, we put everything back and went to the JC Penneys to get our snowglobe, and have breakfast.

Around 10 am, we went back to Shopko, since I really wanted some lamps and rugs they had on sale. Even though there weren't any left on the shelf, by then the store had cleared out so I asked a clerk to check their stock, and THEY STILL HAD EVERYTHING I WANTED!

All in all, it was a good day, but I am not sure I care to go through the Shopko experience that early in the morning again. The good news is I am completely done with my Christmas shopping, so I don't have to go near a mall (until the after Christmas sales;) )

We had a game plan and managed to get everything we wanted. We poured over the ads on Thursday and hit Kmart that night for some christmas lights and the light up spiral tree thingy they had. Woke up at about 4am on Friday.

5am opening at Kmart - SO and I took separate cars as we had separate destinations as the day wore on. When we got there, I found out that I had forgotten to bring a coupon page for Lazarus so I ran home to get that. SO got a sander, earing/necklace set, earings, shaver, and a game set

6am opening at Sears for me. I got a tool bag, a quick change socket set, and a mini plier thing

6am opening at Lazarus for SO. He got a bath spa and a down comforter.

6:30am Raced over to Best Buy. It was a mad house. Got 3 PS2 games. I had to leave to make the opening of Target so I left SO in the line. It was wrapped around zigzag style about 8-9 aisles. He waited in the line for over 40 minutes.

7am opening at Target. I got a PS2 game, Bop It 2, and a mixmaster thing.

8am was breakfast at Denny's followed by me going home, and SO going to work for about 3 hours, we napped for awhile and then went to Walmart, but didn't get anything.

During this time I had also recruited my mother in FL who was going to Walmart first thing then JC Pennys to pick up some stuff for me including the Mickey snow globe.

Best deal in my opinion was at Lazarus. We got a Ralph Lauren King Size Down Comforter that was originally $249 for only $89. I was very happy with that.

I only wish SO had gone to Zales for some of the items I had circled in their ad! ;)
