DS5 was watching a movie earlier & I was sitting here Dising when I came across a thread mentioning the Doodle Doll. I thought, Hmmmmmmmm, Didn't I get a doodle monster for DS on Black Friday? Rooted through the closet & sure enough I did! So, I brought it out unwrapped, snuggled up to DS on the couch & whispered into his ear "I bougth you something special & was waiting until we could have some quiet time together to give it to you." He was thrilled. Just glad I remembered it today & not next week!

Not this year but last night I seemed to have an "extra" present for one of my kids...LUCKILY for me, it works out well because his birthday is in January, so whenver such things happen (and it HAS in the past!!), I just turn around and wait a couple weeks to give it to him for his birthday.

I almost forgot one I bought for DH last summer. Its a Tommy Bahama tie. I found it at Marshalls, marked down. Its Santa Claus sitting under a palm tree watching three hula girls. I gave it to him but he wouldn't wear it to work!

I do that every Christmas.

One year my DD was opening presents and I noticed that my son was pretty much done--SNAP-I left an entire box of stuff in the closet upstairs.

One year, I was putting away the Christmas decorations and found a gift I hid. It wasnt even wrapped yet, thats how good I hid it. Serious Clark Griswold moment.

I was busy dusting my husbands office behind some books and I saw a bag with a few new books in it. I ask him what these were for. He says that those were my Christmas gift--Um Hello, Christmas was a month ago--Total Nerd

Yes, DD13's spiky black boots and DS11's new comforter. I'm such an idiot--I put them both in the bag together so I wouldn't forget either one, then stuck it in the closet.

I forgot to wrap DD1's gift to DD2! Doh!!! DD2 liked it anyway.

DH forgot to bring one down. As DS was opening his, he said "I hope one of these is a Mega T Rex" (his #1 request) I looked at the shape of the packages and new it wasn't there. That was a pain to wrap. I looked at DH, he ran upstairs and got it. He came in via the kitchen and said "look what I found, silly Santa, he left one of your presents in the kitchen"

lol i collect old stoneware dishes, dw bought me a gift at an antique shop back in september, brought it to grannies house and hid it so i wouoldnt find it,, then forgot it was there till yesrterday evening while we were at her house having christmas with my folks, shemade me come home and get wrapping paper and stuff and a box for her to wrap it in, then i had to come home till she got it wrapped..lol

Yes I got my DD the pink leapster and after everything was open and we were cleaning I was thinking I KNOW I bought her a pink backpack made JUST for the leapster, that thing was $20.00 and hubby was all upset that we couldnt find it.
I walked in our closet and there it was on the top shelf, along with a bag of small stocking stuffers and a dvd I got hubby.

I just remembered that I had gotten DD4 two Danger Ranger DVD's and I don't know where they are! I was thinking earlier today that I should start making lists of what I get everyone so I don't leave anyone out.

By the way, why aren't the smilies working? Also, I have had problems logging in and this is the second time I've tried to post this. I assume it's all due to the upgrade?

I do a list of presents and names. Helps for the next year too so I dont give someone a candle or something 2 years in a row.
