Did you ever get detention in school?

Yep once... and it was all my mom's fault too... seriously!! She forgot to put a permission slip in my bag (she said she did but she forgot) that I needed signed. So when I tried to call her to have her bring it to me, she didn't answer and I wound up with detention. I was in middle school at the time and never since.

My daughter got suspended for 3 days for warning some girl that two other girls wanted to jump her after school.

Serena, I hope you told her you were proud of her....I don't see why she should have been punished for that.

Yeah, that's so weird that your daughter would get suspended for that. I thought schools were encouraging kids to tell if they know some kind of violence is going to happen.
