DS goes to college in August so I'm really wanting to see this, but dreading the tears. I'm tearing up just reading this thread & thinking about it!

Yes! I cried so hard it was embarrassing. It was all about the back story for me--Andy and his mom, not the toys. My oldest is in college and grew up with "toy story toys." It just made me miss him so badly.

I almost started crying at the beginning (for those that have seen it, you probably know the scene I'm talking about) but other than that, no.

I should probably say that I've never cried during a movie before though. Haha.

Yes, I did. I am so glad the film makers put the light-hearted, hilarious scenes during the credits. My DD16 was crying worse than me. It was great that a movie could touch so many people's heartstrings.

Yes, I didn't booooohooooo. But the scene mentioned, Andy's room being clear out.

Everyone is right.... I think this movie really hits us moms!!! I
t is all about life, and growing up and moving on, and what we miss.

Heck, mine is only 12, and I can't imagine!!!!

I started crying when Andy & his mom were in his room near the end and didn't stop until the credits.

This was when I lost it. I was sitting beside DD who heads for college in August. Even when I try to tell people about it, I tear up!
