Unless you got a package like Deluxe Magic with a choice feature that you didn't use, you haven't missed out on anything. It's entirely up to the resort & cast members whether they want to do anything extra for honeymooning couples, so you are definitely lucky that the cruise gave you the extra pins and cake! It's not really a matter of missing out or keeping a tally on who gets what - more up to the resort or restaurant if they do anything for you. It wouldn't be as magical if it happened exactly the same to every single person; you are definitely lucky to have been pampered with a cake & pins by your cruise.
