Did we get an official explanation why 2027 Poly points charts increased?

The guess was that some theme part view rooms were reclassified to lower tier rooms resulting in an increase to the lowest point price travel period and some in the second lowest. Did we ever get an official explanation?

The DVCFan show on YouTube today said that yes, it has been confirmed that there were rooms downgraded from expensive categories to cheaper categories, and to make up for that, the point chart was increased in a couple places.

It would be nice if they at least tried to give us the feeling of being owners and communicated that change to those who have PVB deeds. Ditto about the changes at AKV.

I recently attended a Marriott VC 2-hour presentation (those run long, but at least they pay $300-$500 in various ways - much better than a fanny pack...) and we were just chatting about our ownership. When I mentioned that "we also own with DVC" his immediate reaction was "you're not owners of anything with Disney" - referring to the point that it's basically a long term lease or a "right to use" ownership. I enjoy our "ownership" with DVC but he did have a point... it's not like we get to elect members to the HOA board or get a say in anything...

I believe it was asked and officially answered at the board meeting in December.

I know some still had questions regarding the changes at the long houses with PV….and were seeking answers from DVC on that part.
