Did they really have H1N1?

Interesting article. Talks about people that were told that they had Swine Flu (H1N1), but it wasn't confirmed by a test. They may skip the vaccination because of that. But, what if they didn't have Swine Flu?

But even survivors should be sure they had H1N1 before skipping vaccine

We all had H1N1, but it wasn't confirmed by a blood test (we tested neg on the 'quick test', but it isn't accurate for H1N1).

This is my take on it...

We are all gonna get the H1N1 vax when it becomes available. I am about 90% sure we had it already, and so is our family dr. But as sick as we were, I don't wanna go thru that again just in case it wasn't. I'd rather be doubly protected than not at all.

My friend tested neg. for the quick test, but since it was over the summer, the doc said it most likely was swine flu bc no other flu was going around. He was told to NOT get the h1n1 vaccine when it comes out bc he is now immune to it.

So we have two docs saying two different things. Seems like docs don't even know what to advise with this.

Do they have a titer for H1N1? If so you could have that to see if you need the vaccine.
