did they cross the line Jose

I think Mourinho is a very good manager and Chelsea deserve to win the league, however, he doesn't come across well at all while being interveiwed. He called Liverpool "a defensive team" after the game yesterday, yet for 65 minutes it was fairly even on chances created.
Most pundits I have seen interviewed today seem to think the best team on the day won which is my feeling too, if the opposition play better what is wrong in just saying that? Not to offer a handshake at the end of any game is unacceptable.

Naturally being at the game and being a red I am biased, but there has been a growing trend amongst the so called bigger club managers over the past few years, ie Ferguson/Wenger, getting involved in all these 'mind games' and to be honest Jose is just like them too, they only tend to give praise to clubs that are not a threat to them.
Frankly it's getting a bit tiresome now, I think they should just concentrate on their own clubs personally, I have to admit Rafa has been quoted saying things recently too, hope it doesn't carry on.

I seem to remember Wenger being interviewed earlier in the season and he was saying Liverpool were not the best team in Europe last year - despite winning the Champions League - which is probably true.
However, why say it? What does it have to do with Arsenal?

They should take a leaf out of Stuart Pearce's book, always gives an honest answer to any question and will admit defeat with dignity.

Agree completely Johnny,

I was a bit of a sportsman in my day having some success at cycling for a few years and no matter what happened on the day you shook the hands of opponents and gave them respect.

I have admire Rafa from day one for not getting involved but recently he has said one or two things. I was gobsmacked by the Daily Mail the other saying Maureen was ignoring the taunts of Rafa!!! This is the paper who insists on publishing incorrect stories about Gerrard before every big game with the Chavs to deliberately unsettle him.

I am going to sit out in the sun with Jacobs creek now and relax.

In fairness to Arsene Wenger, he is a favourite with reporters because he will ask any question put to him. He never tries to duck a question and has never said any topics are out of bounds. So, Liverpool winning the CL had nothing to do with Arsenal - but he was asked the question. If Arsenal win the CL this season he won't say they are the best team in Europe either.

That was just my point Joanne - he wasn't asked. It was just a dig at one of his rivals for no apparent reason.

I have no problem with Arsenal, my dad (born in London) supports them, it's just the manager(s) at certain clubs that annoy me.
