Did my Hotwire sign up work???

Hi Everyone! Y'all are the experts regarding Hotwire, so please enlighten me. I signed up this am for a Hotwire account. I put in all the info incl cc # and hit submit. I did turn away for a minute or so because it said to wait at least two minutes for it to process. Nothing ever happened?! The website never notified me that it rec'd my info so I finally called the tel#. The rep actually told me that it would take 3-5 days for the email confirmation! He said that the web page doesn't do anything to let one know it was received. That is very strange to me!

Did this happen to any of you? I have a very new computer so that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks very much for the reassurance if you can give me any. I am looking forward to the membership in Hotwire

I just signed up and got the e-mail right away.
Now I can't even remember if it said on the web page that I was signed up but when I'm at the web page it welcomes me by name.

The VERY EXACT thing happened to me, but I'd helped a friend sign up before so I knew the page that shows after that and it wasn't there. Just in case I called and they said you can't accidently sign up twice, the system won't double up identical accounts, so I did it over and voila, it worked. Your email should be very quick but I called the number before I even got it and where it asks do you want to put in your phone number or your account number put in your phone number and it'll tell you your account number "for future reference"

I did the hotwire membership today and after I submitted it, a different hotwire page came up, which was confusing. I kept checking my email and within about 10-15 minutes, the confirmation appeared in my email. I realized the page I wanted to connect to was hotwiresavingsclub.com and not hotwire.com
I could order my vouchers with standard shipping and therefore - saved the shipping, plus got the certificate for $10 back!

Oh, THANK YOU so much everyone for responding to me. I thought it was so odd that the rep seemed to think it was normal that nothing happened when I hit submit. Also, I have received nothing today by email so that tells me my info did not get received! I feel very relieved by your post, simonmunro; I guess I will log back on and re-input my info at Hotwire
