Did I overhear DLR letting people into SWGE this weekend?

I was in dca this weekend at their "city hall" equivalent and I am POSITIVE I heard a lady talking with a cast member at the front desk about SWGE as if she had already been there and was complaining or venting. Or maybe was asked a question and was just giving her answer. This is roughly what I heard.

Her: "yeah it was a bit too sunny, and she got too hot *points to teenager in some form of a wheelchair stroller*

Castmember: says something I cant make out.... then says " you get on the attraction there?"

Her: yes

Cm: so you rode smugglers run, did you go to the cantina

Her: yes and yes

The kept talking but that's all I could make out.

I asked the CM helping me at the time if they were letting people in early and she said. No one was in there yet.


Could this have been a training or something.

The lady was was not old but def atleast late 20s mid 30s and she had a teenager in what appeared to be a stroller or something of the sort. I assume the teen was some form of special needs.




I was no less than 5 feet from this interaction and if there is one thing I'm 1000% positive I heard was the CM reaffirming verbatim
"You rode smugglers run"


Anyone have any info on this? Any secret Disney staff wanna secretly chime in?

Some cast members have had a chance to ride the ride, there were previews yesterday for cast members as well. They can bring guests, so there are people out there who have done the ride and seen the land already.

The first big CM preview was last night. Perhaps they had access to it via a CM family member.

So I assumed it was something of the sort. But what through me for a loop was...I assumed if she was a CM herself she wouldn't have been being questioned in that fashion or even "complaining " about something. One bit I forgot to mention I heard was her going over all the different obstacles she had to over come to make sure she even made it there. Something about her hotel and the shuttle... basically just seemed like any normal person who was having a rough experience and was venting about it. Which is mentioned made me think she wasnt a cm.

But I didn't take cm family into consideration.

I know I saw alot of people scanning into the parks with these special tickets and papers and were being asked to present CM ID that let them in. But I assumed that was just the free ticket thing that CMs can give to family and friends.

But yeah makes sense

I guess the CM that was helping me wasnt allowed to even say CMs and family if CMs were being let in early

There was cast testing the past few weeks. Formal cast previews began yesterday. Cast member was allowed to bring one guest and they were given special park hoppers since the main gates now have blocks on them at Disneyland.

Our CM preview is this weekend!


Weekend before last we got the chance to the Millennium Falcon 3x; all the positions even! I can't say who or why or how but I can tell you it was AMAZING!

Last Friday and Saturday there were multiple CM's with multiple benches blocking the pathway leading to SWGE-apparently there were a few anxious guests.

I was at dl on monday when cast previews werè happening. Benches and cms blocked both paths leading into and out of galaxys edge. They werent letting regular folks in.
