Hi DIS!
My friend and I just decided on a last-minute joint birthday trip to Disneyland next Sunday, June 13th! Sooo excited. I REALLY want to see World of Color, but the fireworks are a MUST-DO for me (especially since my friend hasn't seen the new Magical yet, and it's my fave) and I'm thinking we don't have enough time to get from the 9:30 fireworks to the 10:15 WoC, even with a preferred view dining package. So I decided to get premium view seats for the 10:30 Fantasmic instead, since at least that's in the same park. I'm just wondering if you experts think I made the right decision to do fireworks & Fantasmic as opposed to WoC? (Bearing in mind my friend hasn't seen either, and I really want him to get the dream Disney experience!) Or is it doable to do fireworks and WoC? Thanks so much!

With so little info on how the WoC process will turn out, I think you made the right decision. I think the WoC will be fabulous but you can see it later once the seating/standing/FP/dining kinks are worked out.
And if it turns out that most people think WoC is better than Fantasmic!, then you got Fantasmic! out of the way and can show him something even better on a future visit.
