Did I make bad choices or something?

We are going to Disney Sept. 2-10. Today was the first time I even tried to make dining reservations. I thought for sure I would have no luck since it is only a month away. But I got the 50's Prime Time Diner, Garden Grill in Epcot, and Crystal Palace (for my birthday!). I wanted Liberty Tree Tavern for my birthday, but that is the one they didn't have.
So why was I able to get these reservations? I have heard everyone is having trouble getting anything. Or did I pick bad restaurants? Please tell me I make good choices.

I went to Prime Time Cafe my last trip to WDW i loved the food i was only sad because we got a waitress who wasnt into the gag of the restaurant but the food was good and that is what matters. I heard Character interaction is really good at Garden Grill but the menu didnt appeal to me ppersonally but if it suited you thats what matters. Crystal Palace im doing this trip but im really excited and have heard great things. I know I had a similar situation for september 4th i called 3 weeks ago and asked if there was any Chef Mickey available for 8am and the CM said there is 8 810 820 830 840 850 9am and to take my pic i was shocked i asked about dinner and she spoutted off just as many dates.

Really they are all fun restanrants for kids and adults alike! LTT id try to snag if possible as Character meal is done as of Jan 09. You will hear mixed reviews on every restaurant and good or bad its what you make of the experience. If you go in with good thoughts usually things will go well. FOr 50s Prime TIme I recommend the PB and J shake and the Smores. Garden Grill I heard had great salad.. and Crystal Palace ive heard great things about the selection and characters! :) Hope that hads some optimism!

Prime Time is a MUST DO for us every trip!! It is a great choice!

Those are great choices!!!!! I wouldn't be worried at all!

Since your trip starts so soon most ppl have decided on where/when they want to eat & have cancelled the extra ressies. Or their plans have changed & they are not going @ all and were nice enough to cancel the ressies.

It also might have something to do with the times you asked for. Dinner seating is usually pretty easy to get if you don't mind going really early or really late (4:30pm early & 9:00pm late)

Have fun!! We will be there in 53 days!

Don't know about the other two, but the Crystal Palace is probably your best choice for good food in the MK.
