You got reallly lucky by not having to wait in any lines! Can't wait to hear if you got the room you requested.

i know, i was excepting at least some type of line but nope and there wasnt anyone even behind us either! & ill be updating tomorrow so you'll find out if i got the room i wanted then!

im back! sorry i've been neglecting this TR a little but classes start tomorrow and i've been busy enjoying my last days off!

Day 1: continued..

When i left off we had just checked in with a CM at our resort! let me first say that she (i think her name was misty?) was very very nice and friendly and seemed a little overly happy. which of course i loved! so i told her my name and she had everything ready for us, she said it looks like you got the king bed like you requested! i was like yess and then i said and i also requested the touchdown building, and she says, "you have a king bed in the touchdown building!" i was sooo happy we got the room i wanted, and that the trip got off to a good start! so then she says you guys are celebrating your anniversary? and she got us pins and made us put them on, keith didnt want to but she said she wouldnt accept it unless he put it on even if its just for now, so he did =]

At this point i was like sooo happy and excited but i still got myself to snap some pics on the way to the room...

so it literally was like 2 seconds from everything...we got to the door and i was like ahhhh.. so we opened the door to this...

i love it! lol i took like 5 pictures of it..anyway i immediately took pics of the room before we messed it all up!

so then i started to unpack my carry-on..this is prob the first time i didnt live out of my suitcase on vacation and of course keith just sat down and channel surfed.

Once that was over i wanted food! so we headed over to the food court. I am warning everyone now...there are NO food pictures. I just dont like taking pics of food and i know i wouldnt remember to take them. plus i loveeeee food so much i just have to start eating right away! i love seeing other ppl's food pics tho but i knew i shouldnt even attempt it. But i do know exactly what we ate because i have all receipts and wrote some of it down!

So we both got the boneless chicken wings in a bbq mild sauce. we had the quick service dining plan so i got a cookie and keith got a brownie for desert. i then made keith grab 2 bottles of water for later and we also got our free refillable mugs. keith lovess soda so he was very happy about the mugs. i loved the chicken wings, i dont mind spicy food and these were very spicy..keith didnt like them spicy and we found ourselves exaimining the chicken for spots without the sauce so he could eat! lol so once we were done i was hoping our luggage would have made it back to our room so i could unpack.

I really intended to finish day 1 tonight but its getting late and i have to get ready for class tomorrow, blahhh. so i promise i will try to finish day 1 tomorrow night..thanks!

ASSp looks so nice! I stayed there in 2005 and they've refurbed it since then! Your room is much more updated then ours was at ASMo in April.

yeah , i was surprised at how nice the room was, we had plenty of room and it looked nice too. Actually we ended up not wearing the pins at all for the rest of the trip, keith flat out refused and i figured oh well, it wasnt that important to me since everyone was celebrating something so i didnt care, im sure we could have gotten something free but i guess ill never know! lol

Day 1, the end!

okay when i left off we were headed back to the room and i was hoping our luggage made it there already. i knew that it could take up to 3 hours but i was hoping they would be quicker, id say it was about 7:15 to 7:30 at this point. we got in the room and no luggage. so i layed down for a while looking thru all the papers we got at check in while keith watched espn. I didnt want to sit in the room for the rest of the night because we are at WDW! so i had to convince keith that we should go to the gift shop and walk around the resort.

After he agreed we headed for the gift shop...oh wait before i go into that i forgot to show you the view we had when we opened our door...

i liked that it was more private then most of the rooms by the pools and by the "fields". I wanted to buy postcards at the gift shop for my 2 cousins and keiths niece. i picked 3 or 4 postcards and keith grabbed chips for the room. I got puffy cheetos (Mmmmm) and he got sour cream & onion (eek). Then we went back to the room to drop of the bag and walked around ASSp and i took lots of pictures...here's some of the best pictures i took...

Keith didnt want to be in any pictures at this point and i was like oh well! so we headed back to the room and it was like 8:45ish by this point i think and the 3 hour mark for my luggage was approaching, now i know that many times it can come way later than 3 hours but i have this "bad things always happen to me complex" and i was worried it would be lost. so i was hoping when we got to the room it would be there.

so we got to the room and NO LUGGAGE still. so we watched tv even though i was soooo tired and just wanted to go to bed and i couldnt even shower bcuz my razor was in the suitcase i was waiting for. so FINALLY at 9:20 there was a knock at the door and our luggage was there! yay, i was happy it wasnt lost! it actually was almost exactly 3 hours from when we arrived so i couldnt complain. but next time i will prob just get my luggage at bag claim so i know i have it with me.

Then i unpacked while keith just threw his suitcase on the floor (boys ) then i showered and we were in bed by 12!

And there you go THE END OF DAY 1!

Wow the pictures around the resort came out really good! I like the one of the big Coke cup with the sky turning into night, it's really pretty

Glad you got your luggage ok! I was so nervous about getting ours too and it is pretty annoying that it takes close to 3 hrs to get it.

I live in Mastic too hahaha I saw that you lived on long island but then u were talking about a bank, bath and body works and Mcdonalds all in the same place and I was like omg it has to be kohls shopping center!!! Loving your trip report so far! U guys came home right before we left for free dining!
