Did I give us enough time?

My mom's plane arrives in Orlando at 11:25am, she'll be taking the magical express to All-Star Movies (DD and I will arrive earlier that morning).

I booked a reservation at 1:45pm at TRex cafe that afternoon. Barring any flight delays or major problems, would that generally be enough time for us to get there?

You'd think so....On our last trip, arriving, taking Magical Express and check-in took forever. We arrived around noon and almost missed our dinner res. There's also travel time to the restaurant if you're using the bus system. You might be okay, but I'd have a plan B just in case.
Have a great trip :)

I personally don't think you'll make it if she's flying into Orlando International and remember, ME will have a wait time due to other incoming flights. If it's your mom's first trip, she'll want to look around the resort a bit and settle in so why not meet her at the resort and do a late afternoon meal, say 3-4pm? You'll miss the middle-of-day rush and eliminate any misperceptions about the bus service getting to DTD. :goodvibes Good choice on resorts:love: we make the ASMo our home base every year

We used DME at a busier time of year and arrived at MCO at 9:10 AM. By the time we made it to the DME counter it was about 9:30 AM and we had a line to wait through till about 9:55AM. We boarded the DME bus and left MCO at 10:00 AM and arrived at the BoardWalk at 10:40 AM. I think you COULD be alright but if something delayed the process you would immediately have a problem. The only thing I can point out is that you are travelling in February and not summer or Christmas so the DME process should be smooth.

You may be cutting it close - with ME it's hard to say. You may have no wait time, or have to wait a long time.

The first time we took ME we checked in fast, got right on the bus and we were like the second stop. It was great.

The second time we checked in pretty quickly, but waiting for the bus seemed like FOREVER! Ever other line got on a bus and we were still waiting for one - and we were staying at POR, not exactly a small resort.

I would try to move your reservation back if you can.
