Did DVC drop the Riviera resale restriction?

I wonder if they'll just let whoever manages to grab a reservation keep it. I'm not sure if they have an easy way of sorting through which reservations use resale points, so if it's something that they'll have to sort through every single reservation, I bet they would just let it slide.

Did anyone make a reservation that they're actually planning on using?

They will be able to figure it out I am sure. When VGc got overbooked, they had a way to sort it out.

In this case, I’d bet they can see what was booked at that one resort during the timeframe of the glitch and go from there.

I think I was the first to post on several boards about the VGC April 1 full-on availability so I watched the posts frequently. Several people called in to MS it to make sure it was legit and MS kept saying it was. Took days for MS to put a stop to the VGC bookings. Will be interesting to see how long it takes them this time.

I get an error when trying to modify the Riviera reservation that I made earlier and it no longer shows up in the list of resorts under that contract.

They can't let someone keep if especially if it denied someone who was eligible to book the stay.

Agree. I expect they will cancel them, but not quickly as it’ll take time to sort out.

We are just beta testing DVC site for them, since they don’t do it themselves. It an obvious fail.

I am sure it was fun while it lasted, I didn’t book anything because I don’t want to deal with likely cancellation, but more importantly, somehow the points disappears into La La Land when they cancel on you. I just don’t trust DVC to fix stuff the right way, and the phone call to DVC member services is way too long a wait to get stuff sorted out when things go wrong, so not even worth trying.

I am very surprised they didn't reintroduce the bug that caused Jambo or Kidani owners couldn't book the other building. That has resurfaced with every big update. So I guess it's a win?

But sure a glitch that benefits us is taken away instantly. Borrowing glitch still remains. I'm now convinced that it's purposeful.
