Please tell me if I have a case w/ Disney. I just returned(Nov.11-15) and am a little put off. This was my familys 2nd annual visit to Disney. We stayed at the WL and had agreat time w/ our 2 DD'S.(9@6)
We had a park hopper left from last years visit along w/ a 4 - day for this visit. We started out @ MK and our 2003 passes came up expired? We luckily had our new passes, entered and went to City Hall. I questioned the CM as to why it came up exp and he said it was a length of stay pass? I told him we bought a DM package 4-day hopper but were only at Disney for 3 days and were told that tickets never expire. I bought a 4 day pass why didn't I get 4 days . What should I do or who can I CALL?????
Thanks for your feedback.

I am no expert on this but if you got your park tickets with a package then more than likely they were "length of stay" passes. I don't know of any packages that come with tickets that have anything else. Those LOS passes are also called something like ultimate hoppers or something like that.

Hope that helps...

Was it on a room key with your 2003 dates on it? Sounds like a length of stay (ultimate park hopper), which expire at midnight on your checkout day. You can't buy a dream maker room package with regular park hoppers (never expire) included, they must be purchased separately.

What did you do? Buy one day passes for another day?

I'm with Becka on this one. More than likely you were given a length of stay pass with your package. They expire on your checkout day.

If you were on a dreammaker package then you would've gotten Ultimate Park Hopper tickets which would've included unlimited visits to Disney Quest, Pleasure Island, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach during your stay.

Those tickets do expire on midnight of your checkout date, even if you only went to the parks 3 days out of your 4 days. Only regular Park Hoppers days don't expire.

I'm sorry, but I think you're out of luck on this one. Did you get the tickets in the form of your room key? If so, then that would definitely be UPHs.

Thanks Elwood Blues, I just spit water all over my keyboard!:p

After that commercial came out I had my two YO running around the house for weeks saying doomed to anyone who would listen.

Hi Keane,

WDW Packages include Ultimate Park Hopper Tickets that do expire at midnight on your last package day.

Thankyou for your feedback , and I understand the "Dream Maker " policy ,but put yourself in my shoes. I did not get the ultimate park hopper and told the CM I was only going for three days, at which she told me "no problem ,park hopper passes NEVER expire"! -- I was duped!

I don't see how you could've gotten a package without the UPHs. That's the essence of a package - otherwise you would've gotten a room only deal with regular PHs.

I'm still confused.

You *did* get the ultimate park hoppers (otherwise known as Length of Stay), but they do expire "at midnight on your last package day" as WebmasterKelsie said.

If you were told otherwise, then the CM made a mistake.

::yes:: The whole point of the package is the UPH. Otherwise you would have booked room and hotel seperate. You *can* book room and hotel seperate and get legnth of stay passes, but I'm 99% sure you can't book a package and get regular park hoppers. I might be wrong, but I just can't see how that would work.

OP - Hope you enjoyed your vacation despite the misunderstanding. Hey, at least you know for next time, right?
