I thought it was going to be stupid, but damn if I didn't tear up when that marching band parted to reveal the boyfriend in a tux. :lovestruc

I enjoyed it too, except for the part when he asked her to marry him right then and there on the spot. I don't know a girl alive that doesn't want at least some input in her own wedding. I have no doubt that she wanted to marry him, but it's so much pressure to say yes to the wedding on the spot in front of hundreds of people that are waiting for what you are going to say.

Yeah, agreed with that. I wouldn't have wanted to wear a wedding dress that wouldn't even zip up the back or cover my grey t-shirt underneath.

I watched it. It was OK, but I actually felt really bad for the girl for two reasons. I think it was a cruel, unneccessary joke to have the other lady throw the water in the guys face and make a scene to intentionally make her jealous. And an on the spot wedding with a dress that doesn't fit isn't most women's idea of a dream wedding. I think it could have been better done and it isn't a show that I would make it a point to watch.

We watched it last night and loved it!!

I'm thinking that the bride and groom had a big show-watching party last night (complete with the dress of her dreams) last night.

Loved the show, hated the dress, lol! I teared up when she saw him in his tux too! I was relieved when she laughed immediately when the guy started singing. That was pretty stressful at first-she kept saying, 'this isn't funny, I mean it!' and I felt sorry for her. I don't watch much tv but this looked interesting to me. I've always wanted to participate in a mob dance.

The dress drove me bonkers! I get the idea of the producers wanting everything to be in the moment, but I thought they for sure could have had a small tent or something set up where her bridesmaids could help her into the dress properly and touch up her hair/ makeup.

I loved the proposal and everything about it, but I really think it would have been best to end it at that, with a big engagement part with her family and friends at the end.

I agree. The 'wedding' was dumb. And was it even legal?

I loved this show! Cried all the way through. But in thinking about it, I agree with all of you, the wedding part was ridiculous. They should have kept it as one of the most amazing proposals I have EVER seen and maybe a party afterward:thumbsup2 with Howie M and all of their families. I think she will have a "re-do" on her wedding, I think she got jipped. A what 45 second ceremony? It didn't even seem legit? I still loved all the music and will definitely keep watching:thumbsup2.

I started crying from the moment they were dancing in the lobby :sad1:. I loved it except for the wedding and the ill-fitting dress. I felt bad for her that she had to stand up there in the ugly, gaping dress with her smeared makeup and unstyled hair; she looked very uncomfortable and self conscious.
