Did Anyone Watch CSI Last Night

I watched it:

Basic story was:

The was a bank robbery where a policeman was shot. The robbers blew open some safe deposite boxes - although only stole one box belonging to a casino employee.

The leader of the gang of robbers killed all the other robbers - thus leaving enough evidence to catch him and recover the safe deposit box - with blood in it!

The casino where the employee worked was owned by close family friend of Catherine. The evidence kept coming back to this casino owner when they discovered that a pair of scissors that were in the stolen safe deposit box belonged to the casino owner (the employee had put them in the box to cover for his boss), and were a murder weapon from an earlier unsolved murder. Catherine tested the blood from the scissors and found that it partly matched her own DNA - so proving this casino owner was not only the murderer but also her father!

Greg is suffering from the shakes after his ordeal in the lab explosion.

Grissom's hearing is getting worse and decided he needed to have surgery - he only tells Catherine about it.

The show ended with Grissom going into surgery - so no one knows if his hearing will be fixed or not!!!


Hope that's clear. Can't wait for the next series to see if Grissom gets his hearing fixed. I hope he does; he wouldn't be quite the same if he couldn't hear.

We taped 2 that were on channel 5 last night, have only watched the first one which I believe is the last in series 3, will probably watch the other one tonight so I can let you know tomorrow about that one.

In the one we watched...... (briefly)

They were investigating a bank robbery where a cop who just happened to be in the bank was fatally shot. Turned out the robbers were specifically after a safety deposit box which contained a pair of scissors which had been used in a murder, there was a piece of material wrapped around them which belonged to the murder victim.

All the robbers were then later shot in the dessert, it was traced back to the owner of a Las Vegas club, he was found to be the murderer of the girl (he caught her sleeping with someone else) and also to have coordinated the robbery of the concealed murder weapon, and the shooting of the robbers.
The blonde CSI who's name completely escapes me, knew the owner as he'd had an affair with her mum when she was a child, she also checked her DNA against the blood found on the bit of material and found him to be her father, something she told him at the end just as it finished.

Grisham got a second opinion on his hearing from the pathologist who told him to schedule surgery ASAP, which he did, the end of the show also saw him wandering down to the operating theatre after rufusing a wheelchair, the shot ended with seeing his back, robe open, just before it got to the bit that 'may' have been sticking out!!!

Hope that wasn't too brief, I'm afraid we've deleted it from sky plus otherwise I could have popped it on a tape and sent it to you

Great show!

The second one on last night was an old one where four out of six members of a family were all stabbed to death. It was a grim story and if anyone wants to know how, why, what holler and I'll fill you all in (don't want to spoil for anyone who's not yet seen ).

The second episode I missed, was it about a girl who had persuaded her boyfriend to kill her family because her father was assaulting her?

Me and her indoors are big fans of both CSI and CSI Miami. Basically cannot get enough of both (even got the paperbacks!). Me big fan of Catherine (Madge!). Anyone know when the next series starts. Next week at 9 p.m. channel 5 are starting to run CSI Miami from the 1st episode. Have not missed any but will still tune in next Tuesday

I have watched CSI since it started and think that it is fab. Not so taken with CSI Miami, I just feel that the characters are not jelling together. I remember reading on an American site that they got rid of the character Megan early on in the series because the character was not jelling with the rest of the cast.

I prefer the original CSI to the Miami version too.

I wish the blond haired CSI person (ballistics expert?), in the Miami show would lower her voice a few octaves though

Yes, totally agree, it's almost Linda Barker territory!
