Did anyone use Spanx under their dress?

I am using Spanx and they are awesome. They will give you a smoother line and suck you in some, but with any undergarment you cant expect miracles. They can only do so much.

But i definitely think Spanx are worth the money. Good luck!

Which one do you have? I ordered the "Power Panties" that come up to the waistline and the other ones that come up REALLY high and smooth the upper parts. I ordered both from QVC

I'm hoping for just a little less jiggle. hehehe

My SIL used them and they worked brilliantly - she had no choice as her bridal store went bust and the company could only supply a replacement dress in a size smaller as they had discontinued it!

I wouldn't rule them out if my thighs get out of control!

I am using the slim cognito mid thigh shaper. It goes from your thigh to right under your ****s. I didn't want somehting that would cut me off in the waust since I have a somewhat form fitting dress.

I love them and will use them under other coctail dresses and such

I did not have spanx for my wedding dress but wore something else and it was miserable.
I recently wore spanx for another formal dress and they are AMAZING!
It didnt do me any miracles but it did just help hold thing in place.
I'm pretty sure I used the power panties. Make sure they are the ones that come up to just under your bust.

Defiantly recommend them!

i need to buy one for under my dress. On another MB i read dont use it if your dress back is a corset because you have to undo it to go to the bathroom. Of course my dress will have a corset backing. I was told about the opening for going potty. I also ready it can get messy. I plan on drinking lots of margaritas. I ended going to jcpenny and looked at the crotch area and dunno know how easy it will be hold dress up and hold open the crotch area-lol! I was also told about the slip type which might be easier for me-i hope!Does anyone know if the slip span happens to rise up or stay in place????

I had my spanx on really snug and I had No trouble using the restroom I only went #1 though Lol.
If they fit right when you squat wide the opening was plenty large enough for me to use the rest room and no mess was made.
You just have to make sure when you are putting your spanx on that you rotate the legs of it so the hole is right where it needs to be.
This took to me the 2nd time wearing it to get the hang of it.
So I recommend wearing them a time or two before the wedding.
Also they make you look great in jeans! They hold everything in place and smooth it all out.

I used the name brand, Spanx and I totally love them! First I bought the panty ones and after wearing them a couple times, they rode up too much, so I went back and bought the ones that look like shorts -- they worked much better and I wasn't picking my butt all day.

I am wearing the high waisted slimming shorts with the double gusset. For me, they do a whole lot of good. I think they just shift things and make my body look even. I'm wearing a very tight mermaid style dress, so I don't have a whole lot of room in there. My dress has a steel and plastic ribbed corset, so I think that the combination of the corset and the spanx should keep my stomach in check.
