Did anyone see this article in the Save Disney email?

I likle the idea of a new submarine ride. The idea of doing like the Tokyo one sounds kind of neat. I've never been to the CA Disneyland, but I do want to go. I hope I get a chance to one day.

We were there in June and it didnt seem to slow to me!!

Wait times anytime after 11 am were 45min. to an hour and a half, for just about any ride.

But from what that article said, it just *seems* crowded because several attractions were closed, and that the actual attendance numbers are way down.

It is a shame, it is still such a great park!!

I was just in Disneyland in late May and things are definately not slow. It seems busier than it ever has. Al Lutz is just really critical of things at Disneyland.

At DL a couple of weeks ago....seemed busy to me!

120 minute wait for Splash!

I didn't find it slow when we were there a couple of weeks ago, but it still didn't have the mass crowd it usually pulls in for a summer day. However, I did find that Universal was more crowded than usual when we were there Mid-July. The ToT at DCA is overrated. It's not the same ride you'll find at MGM because it was budgeted poorly. It's basically a thrill ride, not a themed ride - not Walt Disney tradition. When the execs were disappointed, they quickly tried to add to it. Too late, it's just not the same. Just like the poorly built Pooh's ride and the pathetic Bug's Life "carnival". It is sad that they built these rides so poorly that you can actually see they saved $$. However, Oimet is preparing the park for the 50th and I am optimistic that he will be successful. When we were there, we could see how much work they are now putting into the park trying to bring Disneyland back to the high standard it once was years ago. If the numbers are truly that low, they only reflect Harris's failures. I do agree that Al is very critical, though.

Um, I have news for Al Lutz, Disney doesn't release attendance figures. Where does he get his number then, one may beg to ask? Well, of course, he makes them up for his stories.

Yeah, real credible.
