I didn't find it slow when we were there a couple of weeks ago, but it still didn't have the mass crowd it usually pulls in for a summer day. However, I did find that Universal was more crowded than usual when we were there Mid-July. The ToT at DCA is overrated. It's not the same ride you'll find at MGM because it was budgeted poorly. It's basically a thrill ride, not a themed ride - not Walt Disney tradition. When the execs were disappointed, they quickly tried to add to it. Too late, it's just not the same. Just like the poorly built Pooh's ride and the pathetic Bug's Life "carnival". It is sad that they built these rides so poorly that you can actually see they saved $$. However, Oimet is preparing the park for the 50th and I am optimistic that he will be successful. When we were there, we could see how much work they are now putting into the park trying to bring Disneyland back to the high standard it once was years ago. If the numbers are truly that low, they only reflect Harris's failures. I do agree that Al is very critical, though.
