Did anyone see Rescue Me on FX last night?

I missed the 10 p.m. show, but saw they replayed it at 11, so I taped it as it looked great! Glad everyone liked it, will watch it later today.

Will it be repeated this week? I got called in to work and missed it.

I saw the last 1/2 of it

very good

I missed it. But a co-worker watched and he said GREAT Show.

If someone finds out when and if it is going to be re-shown please post it.

Thank you.

Thanks for the info! I thought I'd missed it for good.

A friend of mine was an extra on this show and I wanted to see her in it!

Great show, very intense. Being commercial free really added to the intensity. Looking forward to next week.

I fell asleep right around 10:00. I will have to tape one of the replays.

It was the kind of show I wished I had written!

The info about his support of firefighters shows his true dedication of them... http://www.learyfirefightersfoundation.org/

The language is a bit much but anyone from NY will NOT be shocked. This show is as close to MY New York as I can remember. The attitudes, the stereotyping... unREAL!

Even the minor stories sound incredible. This is one show I will follow! And if Dennis Leary doesn't get nominated for THIS, I don't know WHAT qualifies!

Man, I missed this. I thought there was something that I missed last night.

I haven't watched it yet but I recorded it. Glad to see all the good reviews. I love Denis Leary. Sounds like maybe he's finally found his niche.

I would've loved about five minutes with a pair of scissors and Denis Leary's hair, but the show itself is phenomenal. That scene with the "fifty dollar question" ... I was laughing out loud

I found the show to be entertaining but my husband who has been a New York City fireman for the last 15 years was embarassed by it. He felt that it made the FDNY look like a bunch of buffoons. Of course every firehouse has a moron or two (just like any place of employment - offices, hospitals, schools, etc.). The show, however, portrayed every member of that firehouse as vulgar, rude, racist, and twisted. Yes, the FDNY has suffered tremendous loss both before and certainly after 9/11. But they haven't all become depressed alcoholic womanizers.

I'll watch it again but I'm sure that my husband won't.

My DH watched and liked it . I got up and left the room , I love Thrid Watch but just couldnt get into this show. It was way to crude for me . DH says they really act like that in the firehouse though . Dennis Leary is a Ex-Firefighter( if there is such a thing as a ex LOL) and I am a little worried that if he continues to write and have have them write the show from the Firemans side of it all that the show will fail . What do you guys think ?

BTW When I am in the firehouse I never hear the guys talk like that LOL guess they must really respect the wives .

DH and I saw it last week when it premiered. We both thought it was a great show. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_5_15.gif' border=0></a> I have set it on TiVo for a season pass.
