What did you think of it? We saw it tonight and I thought it was just a really sweet movie. It was a perfect length and a great story for kids!! I am glad we went to see it tonight, I have a feeling tomorrow we will be spending the day digging out! :)

My 8YO won't go see it with me. :sad2:

I need to borrow a toddler to go with me. ;)

I am going out to buy the soundtrack though. I LOVE the vibe of the music, and Jack Johnson and Ben Harper are a couple of my favorites. :hippie:

I want to. The animation looks amazing. Almost like it's glowing. It just looks like a really sweet movie!!!

My husband took the kids last night while I had a girls night at our house, so I didn't get to go.
They liked it a lot!

We saw it this afternoon. Very good movie for young children. My 4 year old son loved it, and all the children in the packed theater seemed to like it. Didn't hear any fussing at all, but lots of little giggles. The animation looks just like the books.

I think I'm going to take my son next weekend. It looks so cute! I can't wait!

The little ones are out of school on President's Day so the moms and nannies are taking the kids to see "Curious George". I am mostly curious to see if the 2 1/2 year old will sit through it! I think his 4 year old sister will enjoy it. I guess we'll give it a shot and see how he does - if he is cranky and squirmy we will just leave early!

3 yr old DD and 8 yr old DD loved it. We took them to the 10:30 matinee. Youngest DD asked afterwards - can we see it again??? I think she thinks it's like a giant TV in our living room. :)

It was a good story, and yes the soundtrack was awesome. They did some previews - one for a new Disney movie called "The Wild". There was also a preview poster in the theater for "Cars"

Excellent! My 3 year old and I saw it on Friday. He was in awe and giggling. The moms all around me kept saying, "Awww he {C.G.} is soooo cuuuute!". The soundtrack is fabulous! Good, easy, gentle, funny story line. Though my tender-hearted kid was overcome when George was captured and we had to leave for a little to re-group.

We are definitely buying this one on DVD.

I took my DD(4) on Friday and she loved it. I always loved Curious George when I was little. My Father always used to read his stories to me. :clown:

Took my kids to see it yesterday and they loved it. I'm sure we'll end up seeing it again before it's out of the theaters.

Wife took the kids (ages 4 1/2 to 8) and a friend to the movie and they all thought it was good. Theater was packed.

So what is all the "controversy" about? I heard a blurb on the tv in which people were protesting the movie, for whatever reason.

I hope I'm not hijacking this thread but, I have a quick question. It seems everyone that posted has young children my ds is 7 is that to old to see the movie? I really want to see it and don't know if I should see it with my dd3 while ds is in school or bring ds along too.

I saw plenty of kids that age and older in the movie yesterday. There were a couple of teenagers in front of us in line. My 6yo (turning 7 next month) liked it and your son probably will too.

Thank you for your quick response! I will take him then. I hate to leave him out of anything, but also wouldn't want him to be bored out of his mind!

I am not sure but I think it has to do with the song "not so curious Geroge" ( which has nothing to do with the movie) that happened to come out the same time the movie did.

But i cant find where i read it :confused3:

Now I cant find anything, at all, maybe I read it wrong, or Im going crazy :rotfl2:
