that they have served the recalled meat to the kids? I just got one today that they served some of the recalled meat at my son's school the first week of October. It says to be on the lookout for symptoms for the next two months! Hopefully, he at junk food those days!!! I'll have to see if he remembers.

I think notices are going out around here as well.

This makes me glad I pack their lunch!!

Really! I haven't picked John-Cole up from school yet. Hes very picky though about what he eats...if it had cheese anywhere near it he wouldn't have eaten it.

Are you referring to the cold cuts issue?? Neither one of my kids eat cold cuts except for Wunderbar bologna, go figure them out because I don't get it!
That would scare the heck out of me!

YIKES, that's scary, Kristy. I hope Brad remains symptom free :)

I haven't yet, but I won't be shocked if I do. Considering my son does nothing but goof off at lunch (according to the notes I receive), I think it's safe to assume he at least hasn't eaten anything bad.

I'm really hoping no child will become ill.

Yikes! I hadn't heard about this. My kid wouldn't eat lunch at school if he were starving, so I'm not thinking this would affect him.

How scary for those who do!

Well, my son Brad said he hasn't eaten the lunch meat, so he is okay. But, Garrett's school also had it and I KNOW he ate the lunch meat and with all his health problems, I guess I will be watching him pretty closely!

We haven't received anything as yet...but it wouldn't matter, my kids only eat what I pack (and then they sometimes trade it for better snacks!)

That is so scary! I hope that all of the kids in the northeast are fine and that all of the people who are going to be affected already know. I've been avoiding lunchmeat because of the possible lysteria risk since I've been pregnant. (It's even worse for a fetus than it is for an adult.) My sister, who's also pregnant, was making fun of me for it, but she's sworn off lunchmeat now herself.
