Hello everyone! Share with me the BEST EVER diaper rash cream in your OP?

THanks! I have a little guy that has the worst rash on his bottom and I am using Burts Bees Diaper rash cream and it just doesn't seem to be cutting it

Triple Paste or Boudreaux's Butt Paste

Flanders Buttocks Ointment is the best I ever used. My youngest would break out in horrible rashes. This was the only thing we used that worked and worked quickly. I think they used to call in Butt Paste. Funny name, but it really works. I hope your sweetie feels better soon.

my pediatrician says it depends on the cause. When mine got it from diarrhea (you know, acidy stuff burning their poor skin), she had me put a little Maalox in my hand, mix it up on my palm with a little Pinxav (aka Pink Salve). THe pinxav protects from the moisture + heals, while the Maalox helps fight the acid.

Pinxav can sometimes be BEHIND the pharmacist's counter -- don't know why.

With my little one the best way to cure a diaper rash is to let him get a lot of air time without wearing a diaper. I put him on some water proof pads and keep him bare for as long as I can. It also helps if I use sensitive wipes rather than regular ones.

I'm fighting a heck of a diaper rash right now on my 5 month old - Desitin is the only thing that would touch it.

I use to use a cream I got in Houston, Mr Smith's or something like that.

It was a small jar and just a dab would clear any rash.
I would to have my brother mail it to me.

A&D Ointment worked like a charm on my DS. I remember once I ran out so I used some Desitin I had and he got such a bad rash. When we were able to get more A&D the next day it only took one diaper change and the rash was visibly improved.

I didn't use creams - I used Baby Gold Bond Medicated Powder. I swear by that stuff - and it's not nearly as messy as creams.

Make sure you air dry that bottom before you put the cream on.

air...that was the only thing that would help oldest's rashes. For some reason the other one didn't get rashes.

I used zinc oxide followed by a layer of A & D.

If it doesn't get better or gets worse I would consult a doctor and make sure it is not a yeast infection. My DD had one that was so bad, then we had to use prescription stuff, but my SIL used to use the stuff they use for athletes feet when her kid had the same thing. (that was what her doctor recommended)
