Diaper & Pull Up Advice Needed

It has been YEARS since I bought diapers, pull-ups or wipes. We are wanting to donate some of these supplies to a local domestic violence shelter and I need help! We have a Sams Plus membership, so I can get them for a decent price and have them shipped for free, so this is likely the route I will go.

Questions .... has anyone used the Member's Mark brand diapers or wipes? Thoughts on those? We probably aren't going to buy a box of every size, so which 2-3 sizes are most used? Or used the longest? What about pull-up type diapers? When our kids were little there weren't separate girl and boy pull-ups. Is there really a difference, or is it just the Minnie/Mickey decoration on the pant? Is there a gender-neutral version? What size is most used or can be used the longest?

The fragrance free Member's Mark wipes seem to have good reviews, so will probably get a bunch of those too.

TIA!

It's been about 5 years since I had to buy diapers but yes I used Members Mark diapers and wipes, no problems at all.

We still use the wipes now -- handy to keep a pack in each vehicle, bathroom, camping gear... they are always handy not just for butts!

Thank you for your advice! I'll order a variety of sizes. Sam's brand prices SO much better!

We swore by the Member's Mark wipes. We did notice a fairly large difference in quality between the Member's Mark diapers and our preferred brand (Huggies.)

I believe the difference in boys vs. girls is in where they concentrate more of the absorbent gel. But not quite sure on that. Been ages since we used them.

But I do recall the kids being in size 3 forever! So if you're looking for a useful size, I'd go with size 3.

When my kids were little they were in sz 3 and 4 the longest. But now my grandson (who is very skinny) was in 4 and 5 the longest. So maybe the cut and fit of diapers has changed. We didn't use pull ups really.

Thanks for all the sizing advice! I ended up going with Member's Mark diapers in sizes 3 & 4 and 2 boxes of Pull Ups - Boys L 3T-4T and Girls L 3T-4T and baby wipes, as well as tampons, pads and liners. Decent prices on all of these items and most likely very needed! Thanks again!

Thank you for what you are doing... we just donated large overnights to ours. I was told the really big sizes are needed because they get the least of them.

Just wanted to chime in for sizes that I'd definitely go with the bigger sizes. I would bet heavily that most donations are for newborn and sizes 1 or 2 diapers. I'm sure they could really use the bigger stuff!

Love to see people do this. As someone who used to organize dipes donations for a crisis center, I would politely suggest calling to ask what the need is each time. We would have feast or famine on any given size at any given time. Just as soon as we asked for 3s, we'd get 400 and then run out of 1s and 4s for 6 weeks while 3s kept coming in. :)
