Hi
We are travelling on the Disney Wonder Dec. 5-9. I have 2 questions. The first one is are toddlers allowed in any of the kiddie pools with swim diapers on? I've seen pictures of people with their babies and toddlers in the pools. But I've also read you can't bring them in to any of them. I would hope you can bring them in to one of them. My second question is: I've read somewhere that you can borrow life jackets at Castaway Cay for babes. Is this true and what type are they? I have 2 -18 month olds and have our own. I just don't want to bring them if I don't have to. But I don't want to have to travel far on the island either. And one last question, is there a place you can get sand toys? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you guys for all your useful suggestions along the way,Mary

Children who are not potty trained are not allowed in any of the pools, and swim diapers are not allowed.

There is one ear of the Mickey pool that's been made into a shallow water-play and splash area for the diaper set, but that's the only area of the pools they will be allowed into.

Hi Mary!

Children who are not potty trained are allowed only in the "fountain" Mickey's Ear pool. They are not allowed in the Goofy Pool, the Mickey Pool or the other ear of the Mickey pool. Many people complain because it is tough to contain a little one in that small ear, but I believe laws prohibit even swim diapers in the pools.

There are life jackets available at CC. I believe they are the self-inflating type and I am not sure about sizes. They are available at the life guard towers and you are required to wear one while snorkeling. I think if I were thinking about a life jacket for a little one, I would bring my own. My kids were 3 and 4 on our cruise and I chose to let them go into the water without one. It is VERY shallow fairly far out so I just kept a close eye on them.

We brought sand toys from home, but not everyone chooses to do that. We used them in St. Maarten as well as CC. They really didn't take up that much room in our luggage. There are sand toys available to purchase on CC - $16 for a very small amount of toys. I have heard there are toys available to borrow at Scuttle's Cove - but I did not see that first hand.

Have a great time.
