Diamond Horseshoe?

I was browsing through restaurant menus online when I found the "Diamond Horseshoe," supposedly in Liberty Square in the MK. Where exactly is this? I don't recall it from any of our trips. I read they have a meatball sub, and I would like to try it!

Its next to the Liberty Tree Tavern, this was one of our favorite CS places on our trip.

It's only open at peak times and free dining as an overflow dining location. Lunch is CS sandwiches, dinner is TS served family style, same food as Liberty Tree Tavern's dinner.

They've had the dinner there in prior years, but this year is the first time they've served CS lunch.

1) Prior, it was a stage show and had soda, snacks and sandwiches.
2) It was a pretty entertaining version of a Wild West Saloon.
3) I still miss it.
4) But, it became too expensive.
5) The labor cost of actors and waiters got too high.
6) And, people were not buying enough food/beverages to offset the cost.
7) Same thing that killed Adventurers Club.

NOTE: It used to be that high-demand rides and activities would carry low-demand rides and activities. Now, all must carry their own weight. We saw some charts and graphs, and soon afterward, some of the low-rated items were cut back or canceled. (One of the girls said, "Disney would be rolling in his grave.", to which one of the other girls said, "You mean Pinwheel Walt?".)

Thanks... interesting. I can't believe I haven't come across it before...


Except maybe I did... when we were on our honeymoon, I remember stopping some place in the general area of Liberty Square... maybe around 10 or 11pm on New Year's Eve... Dec 31, 2001. I don't remember ordering anything, but I remember being on a balcony and looking down. There was a guy doing a Cotton Eye Joe demonstration and people were trying to learn it. Would this have been the Diamond Horseshoe?

It is only open for dinner now. We went on Saturday and enjoyed the meal. It is next to Liberty Tree Tavern and served by their wait staff.
