Has anyone heard of this or eaten there? I was checking for last minute ressies/cancellations at Tony's and they suggested the Diamond Horseshoe. Apparently it is a temporary restaurant kind of like Liberty Tree:confused3

This is an attraction/restaurant that has changed a lot through the years.

Once upon a time, you need a reservation and then were able to order beverages/sandwiches from a server before enjoying a show (similar to HDDR).

Then they changed it to open seating where you went up to a counter and got your food/beverages - before the show.

I'm not sure of the status anymore. The last few years that I've visited, the place was closed. A shame ... I really liked it.

Supposedly it is a table service restaurant and unless there is a cancellation at Tony's that I catch before 9/15, we'll try it out. I would love to see a menu or something since we have 2 girls that can be somewhat picky eaters.

Thanks for the reply.

Ate here back in the day. Don't remember to much about the food. It was fun.

Any info on this? I'd love to see it back in service, but haven't seen anything about it in years. It's also been closed the last few years I've been to the MK.

I just booked for dinner there the other day for our Sept. trip. The CM said the menu is a lot like Liberty Tree. She got me at "roasted turkey"! Also, it is on the free DD plan.

added for the free dining period. The menu is supposed to include carved beef, turkey, mashed potatoes, etc. It's likely to be similar to LTT since they essentially share a kitchen.

Just found this ... doesn't say anything about having the show though. THAT was the real attraction!!

Thanks a bunch! Hopefully it will be great food:yay:

It will be the a condensed menu from LTT but the same exact food because the LTT kitchen is literally 5 feet away in backstage distance. It's closed normally, and only open during peak times. I know they use it for storage sometimes, and I've seen meetings conducted back there, and I think that's where they stick some of the bands during Grad Nite.

I booked this for September 23, when we have MNSSHP. Everything else seem to be booked up. We got a 5:05pm ressie for 6 people at 2 tables.

Do you know where it is in MK? It's not on the map and we have ressies for Wednesday night.
Thanks!!

It's a temporary family-style offering, just for free dining. They will not offer this meal after the free dining period ends. Menu is supposed to be similar to Liberty Tree's - they're using the same kitchen.

If you're walking from Liberty Square to Frontierland (where it's located), it will be on the left hand side. It's a blue building with a deck. I believe it's one of the first buildings after Liberty Square ends and Frontierland begins.

It's in Frontierland. If you are coming from Liberty Square it's on the same side as LTT, just a little further on, but in the Frontierland area. It's before the shooting arcade. I think it's a corner building.
