Diamond Horseshoe Revue

Does anyone know what is going on at Diamond Horseshoe Revue? There are renovation walls up around it. I wonder if they are going to open again. I would love that, it is such a waste of a beautiful building.

I always think of that when I see Disneyland's Golden one. They have a live show--with cowboys, and comedians. Such great fun!. there's so much more that WDW could do with the areas that they have--and I'm sad that it's so wasted.

1) I was going to be cute and say a character meet-and-greet.
2) But, I am afraid I would be right.

I would love the character meal with cowboys. That would be fun for my girls too!

One of our favorite WDW memories is when the magician pulled my DS on the stage of the Golden Horseshoe. That was so much fun! I wish they would do shows again. Last time I noticed they did have a Woody meet and greet - how sad.
We did see the magician over on the Boardwalk a few years ago. My DH comminted on how much we missed him at the Diamond Horseshoe, he said write the managment and let them know. So we did.

I love Billy Hill and the Hill Billies! We go to see them every trip to DL!

I absolutely loved that! It was great! A very, long, long, time ago, you used to be able to get snacks and sandwichs at Diamond Horseshoe and there was an act to watch, but it never was anything like Billy Hill and the Hillbillies. If I remember correctly, it was a honky-tonk pianist, and a comedian on stage with a saloon girl. It was a great place to get out of the hot Florida sun and have a snack or lunch. It's just wasted space now, which is a shame because the interior is quite beautiful.
