Hello, I'm an annual pass holder and I just recently renewed my pass on Jan 1st at the ticket booth. I had my old pass and they said that everything would just carry over, which is great until from the corner of my eye I saw someone buying an annual pass next to me and the card design was a beautiful Minnie Mouse with diamonds. Did my eyes deceive me, or does Disneyland really have a 60th anniversary design? If so, how can I go about changing mine?

I just bought a "new" AP in December and we were given the regular design (the one they've been using for a while - featuring Mickey, Goofy, and Donald with a blue background).

I know that the regular ticket stock (the ones that are made of the heavier duty paper) come in several different designs (e.g., Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Olaf, etc.), so perhaps you saw this person getting one of those instead. You can see a photo of the 60th Anniversary regular tickets on DisneyGeek:

I got my niece an AP in September and it is the same as mine, nothing new. I think what you saw was a paper ticket. This year those all have different characters with a big diamond!

APs this year are the regular design. Only the paper tickets have a diamond celebration design, which I thought was a little disappointing.

got our AP passes yesterday asked about a new design and they said no there is it one
