So im going to WDW in April/May and I'm gonna head over to US/IOA for a day (I went there in 2013 also).

So really the only part i havent seen is Diagon Alley and i wasn;t very impressed with much last time i went other than Hogsmeade.

So here is my plan for when i go and please let me know if you think i could do this in one day. Touring plans says the day i will be going will be quiet;

- Arrive at US one hour before opening
- Go straight to Gringots
- Ride Gringots
- Jump straight on the hogwarts express
- Ride forbidden journey
- Ride the dragons challenge (preferably twice)
- Look around hogsmeade
- Jump on the hogwarts express back to DIagon alley
- Look around Diagon alley
- once ive had my Potter fill potentially try to get a couple of other things in like get a Krusty Burger and ride a couple of rides

What do you all think? I will be going on my own as my wife is not interested in going to Universal again.

For me, it is very hard to visit a new land and not spend the time to look around. Yes, ride Gringotts first. You might like it so much you want to go again later. But then stay in Diagon and explore everything. So much to see, you can spend hours.

Once you have your fill of the new area, then Hogwarts Express over to Hogsmeade. Do all you need to do (wait times are not bad for FJ and DD's). Then lastly ride HE back.

Either leave from there or do extras as you wish.

Only my two cents, but have tons of fun either way!
