Hi!

We are traveling to Universal before Disney and our first day, we'll be arriving around 8am to RPR so after check in it will be a little later in the morning. This is September 25th

I know Gringotts is not really do-able unless we take advantage of EE (which we will try and do a few days later) but i'm not really concerned with the ride as I am with just feeling claustrophobic in DA as I walk around. I really just want to take my time that first day to enjoy the atmosphere. Can anyone tell me who's been there so far how crowded it was to walk around?

It was crowded in the afternoon/mid-morning no doubt but it didn't make me crazy. I loved it better in the morning early of course so that I could take pictures with out someone cutting in front of me. Diagon Alley is wider it seems then Hogsmeade (which is crazy when full). If you want to explore when you get there I think you will be fine. And September seems to be not as busy. I was there last week of July.
