Are you talking about lancets? Those can be disposed of in the regular garbage cans (properly wrapped of course). You will most likely get different opinions on this though.

When I called Disney said they would appreciate if we used a Sharps container so there was no chance that a worker would get poked.

That's why I said "properly wrapped". My Hubby has his own type of sharps container.

I frequently will use a soda bottle with a cap and put my used syringes and lancets in that. Very easy yo dispose of. At home I use a 2 Liter bottle and when full dispose of that in the garbage.
