Diabetes medication in parks

Hi, we're going end of June/beginning of July with my parents. My mom is diabetic and takes her shots about an hour before she eats. Will she be able to bring her needles through bag check? Silly question, I know, but I truly don't know the answer

Absolutely! They will most likely just look inside the bag to confirm contents.

She might inquire about a pen for travel. DH prefers the old-school route of syringe and vial when he's home, but when we travel, he likes the ease of carrying Lantus and Novolog pens.

Before he switched to that arrangement for travel, we had no problems taking his supplies into the park. He has a small zippered case that holds syringes, vials, swabs, glucometer, etc that he keeps in his backpack.

My grandma and my friend that made trips with us had no issues at all

My son is diabetic. They never give a problem to anything we need to bring in.

no problems, they even have sharpie disposal stations in the bathrooms (I know in men's, I'm assuming the women's has it also)
