Dh isn't into a party and most vacations we take are very active, and he prefers relaxing style vacations.. So for his 50th I'm looking for an all inclusive vacation where he can pretty much lay around. I would prefer one with the kids, but the budget will determine that. I know he doesn't want Mexico, we've been to the Bahamas. We would be going in January preferrably just for 4-5 days we are thinking of surprising him with it. We typically do a disney/florida trip around then so I think I can probably pull off the surprise up until the last day + he will be thrilled we are not going to Florida again. I have a small personal account he doesn't get involved in so I think I can pay for it without him knowing as long as it is affordable.
Any ideas? I would love something with a lot of optional activities for the kids, and I, as we would rather be on the go. And since we have LOOOOONG winters here and we would go in mid-January somewhere warm!

a cruise? Multiple ports to see, relaxation and shows, kids clubs etc on board, and all-inclusive!

I agree, a cruise is an excellent idea. I took my DH on one in 2012 for his 50th birthday.

Look at the Dpminican Republic. Lots of all inclusives there. I'm sure you can find one to fit your budget.

I agree with Dominican Republic. It's very affordable and most of the all inclusives have kids clubs and activities. Vacationexpress is who we have used the past 2 years and have nothing but positive things to say.
