Beginning Monday, Feb. 10, construction walls will go up around the legacy FASTPASS machines at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Toy Story Midway Mania! and at the Tip Board/Hollywood junction area. This work is scheduled to last approximately four weeks.
During this time, FAM will be removing all of the legacy FASTPASS machines (The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Toy Story Midway Mania! only) and installing additional FastPass+ kiosks at each location
Tip Board specific information:

•The braille map will be accessible from the Starring Rolls side during construction.
•The two existing FastPass+ kiosks at the Tip Board will be accessible during construction.
•The current Tip Board will be placed on the construction wall during construction.

Bumping for great justice and closure for all those who hoped that Disney would revert back to the old system.

I don't think anyone thought they would go back to using the legacy machines themselves. That they'd re-evaluate FP+ and re-institute similar guidelines within the new technology, maybe, but I don't think anyone expected them to go back to the old infrastructure.

Not to argue, but as a point of fact there have been many posts over the past few months in which people have stated that either "I hope Disney goes back to the old system", or "I hope disney realizes that FP+ is a failure and goes back to the old system since it's just in testing", etc. etc...

If anything it's an indicator that the lame excuse that we can't express dissatisfaction with the new system because "it's still in testing" needs to end. The new system is all there is, the testing is over. Just because they may tweak it for other guests later doesn't mean anything.
