We will be spending 2 days at DHS during our late April trip and our wondering if there are better/ more options available for meals those days if we want to travel. (Hoping to get a Sci-Fi res. but doesn't look promising) Wondering what was available in walking distance or via the skyliner?

You have a lot of options around the Epcot resort area & all accessible by walking (10-15) min or the skyliner (not sure how long that is as I've never ridden it-terrified of heights but that's a whole other issue LOL). Not sure if you're looking for lunch/dinner but the Swan/Dolphin resort has several restaurants from lunchtime casual to nice dinner. The BW has Big River Grill, &Trattoria al Forno (dinner only). Yacht & Beach has Beaches & Cream & Ale & Compass. You can find menus for all of them on Disney's website. Hope this helps!

You can easily walk to the Swan & Dolphin, Yacht & Beach and Boardwalk from DHS, and via Skyliner you’d have quick access to CBR, AoA, Pop and Riviera. Multiple very nice options there, from food courts and QS to TS.

Too many to name, but if you check the website or app for open restaurants at these below, you should get an idea:

Boardwalk, Swan, and Dolphin: I would walk or take the boat from DHS
Yacht/Beach Club: I would either take the Skyliner to Epcot (via Caribbean Beach) and walk or take the boat

These below would be Skyliner:
Riviera
Caribbean Beach
Pop Century - QS only
Art of Animation - QS only

Seems like a bunch of options at the Boardwalk, are they all open now?
TY

No, unfortunately. At this time, only two TS: Trattoria al Forno (breakfast & dinner) and Big River Grill (lunch and dinner), plus the Boardwalk Bakery QS and the walk-up Pizza Window.
Truly hoping for a 50's prime time or sci-fi to open up, but I'm not holding my breath.

FYI the Swan/Dolphin restaurants take reservations via Open Table - which allows you to cancel day-of without penalty. You could reserve there now and then cancel if you got an ADR or even a day-of walk-up at Prime Time or Sci-Fi.

keep checking like a madman. I check at least sev times a day in advance of my trip and thus far, have been able to secure a 50s res at 12:30 for lunch and a 6pm scifi for dinner on my HS day of 4/8/21. things do pop up. otherwise, touringplans has a free finder service, but they only alert you via email unless you pay a membership fee to get texts. I use ***********. $9 a month....month to month and it texts you when parameters are met. If you get a text, drop whatever you're doing and don't bother with clicking the link....i've found its much quicker to just open the app and do it that way. by the time you click on the link and wait for the page to load, it'll likely be gone. Worst case- try and join the waitlist from the app right at the start of the lunch or dinner period..and as always, the day before is a good time to check, since people cancel in order to avoid the cancellation fee.

Been checking like crazy, not a food res. but secured a Savi's for my kid the other day.
