DH's Scans

I promised I would let you know how his scans turned out... The doctors seemed satisfied with how the neck area looked and want to repeat his scans in June... They did not see it anywhere else other than there were two questionable spots on his lungs, they asked him if he was sick when he scanned and he had been with one of the worst colds I have seen him have in a long time. They thought maybe that was from the cold and so they will repeat the scans in three months. He did have a polyp which will be removed this Tuesday, so a colonoscopy, poor DH, this Tuesday, removal of polyp which will be sent to pathology to make sure it is nothing. Oh please let it be nothing as I am not sure he could take any more treatment right now...he has had polyps removed before.

Anyway, thanks for keeping us in your good thoughts and prayers......Spring is coming, the sun is shining and life is good for us right now.

Hi Marsha from sunny Treasure Cay, Abaco, Bahamas - SO GLAD to hear the news! You answered a lot of my questions in the last 2 weeks about scans my dad was having. The doc called us here on vacation to let us know that nothing suspicious showed up on the PET scan. They will repeat it in 6 weeks to see if the spots on his lungs & pelvis have changed, they're still perplexed as to what they are, but not alarmed at this point. So good news for everyone right now. If it makes you feel any better I have a colonoscopy in 2 weeks, blech. I've already had one polyp removed & I'm only in my 30's! Happy Easter everyone!
