DHS Reservations on Dec 11 & 12

There is no availability for Mama Melrose or Hollywood and vine on Dec 11 or Dec 12, lunch, dinner Fantasmic package.. nothing. There is plenty on dec 10, cant tell if dec 13 has any as we are leaving on the 12. The other restaurants at DHS all have availability on dec 11 & 12. I cant believe that MM & H&V are already sold out those 2 days for lunch and dinner.

Anyone know why?

Hollywood & Vine is always booked up for lunch no matter when you go. That's because it's a character dining with the Disney Junior characters. It's the only dining in all of Disney that you can see them, so most parents (myself included) make it a top priority for the little ones.

Sorry, but this is simply not true. I never have a difficult time getting this meal. I just looked at 3 random days in june, July and August and each had lots of availability. The reservation system is very glitchy right now, it will open up just keep looking.

I'm talking about H&V for breakfast and lunch. Not dinner.

I am talking about breakfast and lunch as well. There is definitely something going on with the reservations for late Nov and December.

And I agree that there is almost always H&V availability. I've been booking it for years and have never had an issue getting anything. And when multiple other days have plenty of availability at 180+ and 1 or 2 other days don't (I had issue with December 4th and 1 other day I checked, while other days were completely open), it makes me wonder what's going on.

Keep checking. A bunch of Mama Melrose just opened for the week we're planning. They definitely were not there earlier, because I've been stalking the online reservations site and we also called tonight!!

Just wondering if calling gives a person a better chance at getting a reservation than waiting on the website? I'm going in November (free dining time) and not having much luck with the website.

I wasn't able to get one for December 9 for H&V, but was able to get an 8:00 am time on the 12th which is the day we are leaving. I initially spoke to an agent on the phone and she wasn't able to see anything available for H&V and thought it was odd. I guess I'm just going to keep the one on the 12th for now and keep checking to see if anything opens up on the 9th.
